A BRIT teen who sent an email to the White House calling President Obama a "p***k" has been banned from America FOR LIFE.
The furious FBI asked local cops to tell college student Luke Angel, 17, his drunken insult was "unacceptable". Luke yesterday admitted he fired off a single email criticising the US Government after seeing a TV programme about 9/11.
He said: "I don't remember exactly what I wrote as I was drunk. But I think I called Barack Obama a p***k. It was silly - the sort of thing you do when you're a teenager and have had a few."
Luke, of Silsoe, Beds, said it was "a bit extreme" for the FBI to act.
He added: "The police came and took my picture and told me I was banned from America forever. I don't really care but my parents aren't very happy."
A Beds Police spokesman said: "The individual sent an email to the White House full of abusive and threatening language. We were informed by the Metropolitan Police and went to see him. He said, 'Oh dear, it was me'."
Officers will take no criminal action.

If he personally threatened Obama, I can see why they went ape over it at the White House. If his objections were Obama-specific, however, I think Sarah Palin ought to make it a campaign promise to rescind the ban and invite him over for a White House dinner (no alcohol, though).
If it is serious enough for the FBI to be involved and a “banned for life” edit to be issued to a seventeen year old, I don’t understand why the relaying of the message was left to the local police. I would have expected that the young man would have at least rated a visit from some low level UK government official.
I wonder if the local police were informed of the email and somehow took it upon themselves to try to put the fear of God into the kid. The banned for life thing just doesn’t sound feasible. If that be the case, I think that the rest of the story might eventually come out.
I think that could get you, legitimately, banned from Facebook. It is a private endeavor and they can maintain whatever standards of civility they care to.
This young man now must forever bear the stain on his character that he was uncivil to the Won.

Uttering threats is a completely different matter.
I don’t see how this could be possibly true because it’s a waste of the Bureau’s time and it opens them up to lawsuit and adverse publicity. (not that it hasnt happened before)
So, maybe all Americans so inclined should email the WH website and call Obummer a p***k. They probably wouldn’t exile us all.

I thought you had to have one to be called one.
So the kid got drunk and had a moment of clarity. He is now banned from the USA for life. Or until 2012 when the GOP better known as the grown ups take over again.
