Yes, in Fact, We Are Radical
American Thinker ^ | September 12, 2010 | Dr. Joel Wade

When the left attacks those of us who value our founding principles as "too radical," some of us may be tempted to respond, "We are not; we just want to uphold the Constitution. You're the ones who are radical!"

So now we find ourselves in an odd position. The self-described liberals in America are those who want to maintain the present status quo -- the insane body of draconian regulations, the huge tax burden, and the massive governmental work force that sucks up to 30% of our national income.

As conservatives in America today, we seek to conserve our founding principles. This is fundamentally different from, say, a Russian conservative who seeks to conserve the traditional state power of mother Russia, or an Iranian conservative who seeks to conserve his theocracy, or a North Korean conservative who seeks to conserve his communist dictatorship.

This is a good piece.

We are the true “liberals”. The commies stole the word.

Also, the idea of republican government is indeed radical.

Jesus was a radical.

I love radicals.

Yes Saul Alinsky did not have a CLUE when he wrote his “intro” to his book calling Satan the firs t Radical.

Satan was the first “keeper of the status quo”. He was the highest of all God’s creation.

Then God said “hey folks, I’ve got this great Idea for a new thing: “Mankind”. They will grow up and learn and one day judge all the angels.

It was Satan who said NO. He wanted to preserve his status as prefectly created.

Being who had free will and could make mistakes and be forgiven by grace? RADICAL. Dangerous. God surely must not know how bad an idea this is.

I am proud to be a radical.

= )

Thanks for posting this. Nice to know that I’m, at heart, a radical.

RADICAL: ORIGIN late Middle English (in the senses [forming the root] and [inherent] ): from late Latin radicalis, from Latin radix, radic- ‘root.’

We stand at the roots of the creation our great nation and say “Look here. This is what the Founders intended. Lets follow it.”

Radical in deed and in truth.

Haven’t thought of it that way. Nicely worded.

The Lucis Trust, which publishes UN, UNICEF, Greenpeace and other such organizations’ documents, including, IIRC, Goodwill’s documents, was originally called “Lucifer Publishing.” It was begun by Alice Bailey & her husband, Theosophists in the same mold as Madame Blavatsky.

Look it up.

Yet another factoid for today. I just learned this last week, too.

“White Gentiles Only”

Um . . . that’s not what I meant.
