In case the rest of the media didn't get the memo - the plan is say the name "Boehner" so many times that people start understanding who this guy is. Boehner, Boehner, Boehner.
(Excerpt) Read more at today.msnbc.msn.com ...
The RATS are trying to tie Boehner into the last Republican congress that they are accusing of throwing this country into financial ruin.
The RATS want to tie 2001-2008 to someone other than Bush.
GOP ought to rotate the speakership via luck of the draw for the next 8 weeks to keep them on their toes! Hehe!!!
Boehner is my congressman.
That’s a fair recap of the exchange.
Also noticed the new talking point for allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire for the most productive:
“We cannot allow the working middle class to be held hostage by tax cuts for the rich.”
Gibbs will never call them the “Bush” tax cuts. They’re just “the existing” tax cuts. He’s a walking, smiling cow pie.
If anyone needed any evidence that the media is the State Controlled Media this is a prime example.
About a week and a half ago, the pixie communist, MSNBC’s Savannah Guthrie said it “appeared” that the White Hut had decided running against Bush wasn’t going to work, and they were going to run against Boehner.
I noticed in the last week, almost every story on the economy included a comment from Boehner, from multiple outlets. The SCM got the memo.
They’re begging for the GOP to target and contrast Pelosi.
Stupid strategy for them that should be engaged.
I don’t recall an administration ever attacking a House Minority leader directly by name.
Another first, and a new low.
State Run Media is swirling down the crapper.
They need a Kenyan bailout.
I like him.
I like how he told Othuga to stick it at the White House Health Care Conference.
I can just imagine the juvenile left, considering their pre-teen sniggering about “tea bagging”,
when “Boehner” gets the speakership.
Boehner should really call their bluff by demanding that whatever tax policy gets implemented it must include indexing the rates to inflation. Make the indexing of the AMT rates to inflation retroactive.
The Democrats are counting on the increased tax revenues of 20 to 30 million American families earning between $100,000 and $250,000 to pay for their progressive policies. The Republicans need to loudly declare it right now before the elections and get the Dems to blink.
On the surface, this doesn’t make a lot of sense, since only political junkies like us know who Boehner is. However, three possibilities come to mind:
1. Alinski Rule 13: personalize and attack.
2. Hope old guard media puts Boehner under the spotlight and he says something stupid.
3. They’re already attacking him because they expect he’ll be Speaker.
Except for number 2 above, I don’t think these will help win any votes this November. It might actually backfire since most voters will wonder what in the heck Obama is talking about and wonder even more if he hasn’t taken leave of his senses.
I agree and he certainly did tell him to stick it and it pissed Odungo off. Nice job on that one Boehner.
His look always reminds me of Walter Hagen, the golf star from the 1920’s.
Can someone please tell Boehner to stay out of the tanning booth. His tan is fodder for the MSM and dopes like Stewart and Colbert.
I was stunned at the obvious ambush against Boehner by Schieffer. It was like someone was prodding him in his ear to keep attacking.
He should also wear brown contacts because we don't want Stewart and Colbert referring to him as Congressman McDreamy.
You can be as flippant as want about this, but when your chief spokesman looks ridiculous it does take away from the message.
I don’t want anyone to live their lives as the Left wants, and I realize that if the tan goes away the critics will just attack from another angle. I also realize botox Nan from San Fran will never have her looks commented upon. But like it or not the messenger matters.
Total BS.
