Citing a recent Forbes article by Dinesh DSouza, former House speaker Newt Gingrich tells National Review Online that President Obama may follow a Kenyan, anti-colonial worldview.
Gingrich says that DSouza has made a stunning insight into Obamas behavior the most profound insight I have read in the last six years about Barack Obama.
What if [Obama] is so outside our comprehension, that only if you understand Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior, can you begin to piece together [his actions]? Gingrich asks. That is the most accurate, predictive model for his behavior.
This is a person who is fundamentally out of touch with how the world works, who happened to have played a wonderful con, as a result of which he is now president, Gingrich tells us.
I think he worked very hard at being a person who is normal, reasonable, moderate, bipartisan, transparent, accommodating none of which was true, Gingrich continues. In the Alinksy tradition, he was being the person he needed to be in order to achieve the position he needed to achieve . . . He was authentically dishonest.
[Obama] is in the great tradition of Edison, Ford, the Wright Brothers, Bill Gates he saw his opportunity and he took it, Gingrich says. Will Gingrich take it back in 2012? The American people may take it back, in which case I may or may not be the recipient of that, but I have zero doubt that the American people will take it back. UnlikeFord, the Wright Brothers, et cetera, this guys invention did not work.
I think Obama gets up every morning with a worldview that is fundamentally wrong about reality, Gingrich says. If you look at the continuous denial of reality, there has got to be a point where someone stands up and says that this is just factually insane.
Gingrich spoke with NRO after the premiere of his new film, America at Risk
Why wasn't Obama fully vetted, including his complete birth, education and personal background? Numerous legitimate sources now saying "we know nothing about this man. There's NO excuse for why the people in charge of checking out this man's background didn't do their job. It is a Constitutional requirement.
Because people so wanted to believe.

What I am waiting to hear is from the liberals who put this crackpot in power, and then, after self reflection, and buyer’s remorse will say in their deniability “ how did we get here at this point in time ? “ knowing full well that they voted for this guy......
Where has Gingrich been? I read an IBD editorial in '08 that said the same thing D'Souza said last week.
And many other articles have been saying very similar things all along.

Just be glad he’s finally catching on and spreading the word.
I'm not talking citizen-type people. Surely someone or some group had the responsibility to fully and completely background check Obama and make sure he was/is qualified to be America's leader.
Snip: January 17, 2008 That was the first use in presidential campaign politics of an unusual word. After losing in Iowa Jan. 3, Sen. Clinton said of Sen. Obama, "Everybody needs to be vetted." Chief Clinton strategist Mark Penn, on the way to New Hampshire, said of his candidate, "She's fully vetted ... and I don't think that process has occurred with Barack Obama." Clinton then told a rally, "Of all the people running for president, I've been the most vetted, the most investigated and -- my goodness -- the most innocent."
It doesn't matter since most FReepers hate Gingrich's guts, and don't pay any attention to what he has to say anyway.
You'd think someone like him would have access to this information. I tend to think he knew all this but he's sticking his finger in the wind and sensing that only now is it becoming politically safe to say what he's saying.
I don't hate him. I like him as a teacher and media personality.
But he's too much of a political chameleon for me to want him to be elected to public office again.

Souza’s article was terrific. However, I am wondering whether much difference exists between the anti-colonialist philosophy and Black Liberation Theology. Both see the world as divided into Oppressors and Victims.
The O’s idiotic philosophy could be just as much a function of his years listening to Jeremiah Wright as of the influence of a father he never knew.
Gingrich’s assessment is bang on! Its great to see it on paper!
This is the problem with the beltway conservative elite. We all knew this during the primaries, that Obama would govern as extremely as he has. Gingrich, etal, really believed Obama would moderate much as Clinton. Damn fools, every one of them.
Was that IBD article titled....”Obama the African General”??
Or something like that?
I have been searching for that for months, but cannot remember the title!
But, I have to admit that Mr. D'Souza presented an analysis and hypothesis which I had not considered - and which greatly explains Mr. Obama's America hating actions. I previously had just figured him to be a run of the mill marxist (with a bit of a racist bent) - but his America/West hating attitude is well explained by his desire to fulfill his father's (the drunken, bigamist, sot) 'anti-colonial' 'dreams'.
