BACK TO SCHOOL!
By Naval Support Activity Chapel Staff
A child came home from his first day of school. His mother asked, What did you learn today? He said, Not enough. I have to go back tomorrow.
Going back to school is always difficult for both teachers and students. It also means more traffic with school buses back on the road, probably the only ones delighted about schools reopening are the parents.
Going back to school can be a milestone. Kindergarten, sixth grade, high school and college are all significant marks of progress and change (especially when the kid finally gets a job!). For parents, these can be good times to reflect -- and perhaps to set new goals.
It is good to reflect on memories of your kids growing up, and how proud you are of who they are becoming. It is also important to understand what they will need next as they grow and develop.
An important goal is not only to ensure that they learn reading, writing and arithmetic, but also that they learn about God as well. The Bible tells us to train and teach our children in the ways of God (Proverbs 22:6 and Ephesians 6:4). One great way to do this is to take them to church.

Thaks again for the GREAT Christian Music!!
My wife's grandfather, who has passed on at 96 10 years ago just loved "In The Garden", he was such a great Christian witness, loved the Lord until the day he passed into His Arms!

Evening, Lasses.
Very somber 9-11 here. Moonbats protesting on the front lawn, and evil people on the phone. I need my Canteen fix...

Yep. I was on the way in to work, so I couldn’t give them a piece of mind.
Did chirp my tires going around the bend, though. Satisfying....

Spent the day busy again.. took Dad to see his Gear-Head buddies for breakfast, helped my oldest Daughter start moving out of our house and into Dad's house that she's renting from him and put up new curtains, dealt with the cable guy there, dealt with the cable guy here, went and had the evening meal with Dad with Mrs.SR and Daughter.
More stuff of the Daughter's to move over tomorrow.
She's getting out of our house and will be on her own again after a year of living with us after our helping her escape from her abusive ex.
