I think Gov. Rell could step in a lend a little endorsement support here. Rell is still very popular and it will be meaningful.

You'll notice that many of the ads Linda is running now are designed to grab the independents. Women independents especially.

She'll clean Blumy's clock in a debate. Can't wait to watch.

She can win this thing if (R)'s, (I)'s & TEAPartiers everywhere in CT get to the polls.

Lots of O-bammer's Remorse around here on the (D) side. She could tap into that as a Rell-like candidate.

I don't think Lieberman has endorsed anyone yet, has he?

FReegards!

No, but they will. On October 4th. 7 p.m. on FOX News. Bret Baier will be the moderator. Sponsored by FNC and The Courant newspaper. Info.

I've seen many of her ads on the New York City TV stations.  They're pretty effective ads.  Like you say, they're mainly targeting women.  Especially women like soccer moms.

I should clarify. That’s Fox CT and not Fox News who is sponsoring it and carrying it live. Moderated by Bret Baier. It’s likely C-SPAN will carry it nationally.

The issue in Conn. will be turnout.

If the Democrat base is depressed and what few GOP voters show up, we might be able to squeak out a win.

Conn. will be the exception that proves the rule. Hey in the early 90s the Communists actually won seats fair and square in Poland and other Eastern European countries. Shiite happens!

Blumenthal has a horrible new ad out talking about how he supports the off-shore oil drilling ban. I really wish this creep would go away.

“FWIW... I was driving around East Hartford, Manchester and Glastonbury today... LINDA signs were everywhere! In yards of very modest homes, and on lawns of private businesses. I was kind of stunned.”

I noticed the same thing. I really hope this guy loses, but time is running out. I wish he would take Ned Lemont with him. Both creeps.

I saw the same thing, Linda signs everywhere. Between New Milford and Westport LINDA everywhere, not one Blumenthal sign. Saw one Chris Murphy sign in East Haven but it had fallen.

On that note I was at the CT expo center today in Hartford for a health show. Linda’s campaign had a booth and there were lots of people walking around with Linda baloons and stickers. No blumy stuff anywhere.

Nice! I've heard from a few people in the know that Linda has quite the "machine". Sounds like it's working well... ;-)

I bet Dick has a couple more skeletons in his closet that will come out in the coming weeks.

East Haven is immediately to the east of New Haven and is in the Third District (Rosa DeLauro-Useless Witch CT 3 holding the seat since 1990). Understandably, anyone, even Murphy, would be preferable to DeLauro but isn’t Murphy the incumbent in the Fifth District (Waterbury and most CT points north and west to MA and NY???
