If you happen to notice that President Obama is not wearing his wedding band, there’s a simple reason why: it’s getting repaired.
For at least two days President Obama’s left hand has been unadorned by his wedding band. The White House said that beyond the typical cleaning that most rings get, Mr. Obama’s intricate gold ring needed a little repairing. White House aides declined to elaborate on what specifically was wrong with the ring.

A friend of mine who works in specialized communication devices told me obama has sent the ring out to have a miniature teleprompter installed in it. Look for him soon to start talking with his hands out front, palms facing him.
It projects a holographic image about the size of a laptop screen that appears to him to be about two feet in front of his face. He is one of the first people to try this out.
He originally decided to get this new device so he would know what to say to his wife and kids, but his handlers soon saw more uses for it. It is a rush job since he hopes to have it ready in time for his next vacation so he will know what to say when ordering ice cream. It is also expected to allow him to know what club to ask his caddy for so he appears to know something about golf.

Barry and Michelle moved to Indonesia for several months in the 1990s.
And it defies logic that the anorexic looking POTUS couldn’t get his now too large ring fixed ASAP.
It probably flew off when he was picking his nose or stroking Reggie.
Or, sometimes a ring can become oval rather than round and kind of flat in the back, if it is a soft, high quality gold. My wedding band did that. I had it designed in Ireland and I did have to have it re-shaped after a few years. But it only took about a day to get that done.
Although Obama's ring might be being re-sized or re-shaped, one would think that any jeweler would have the President's ring ready ultra quickly, duh...I could not imagine a more important customer for a jeweler. A few days seems absolutely unbelievable.
He either lost it and had to have a new one made...or Michelle stepped on it, and he had to have a new one made!
I think he has lost so much weight that it falls off his finger so he is getting it sized down.
Maybe he hawked it to pay for his credit card bills!
