Topeka church says it will burn Quran
Topekas Westboro Baptist Church announced tonight that it plans to burn the Quran and an American flag on Sept. 11, though the exact time and location havent been determined, a church spokeswoman said.
The burning would occur the same day that a Florida pastor had threatened to burn Qurans, which drew condemnation from President Obama, religious leaders and others.
Shirley Phelps-Roper, who announced Westboro Baptists plan, said they dont think that pastor, Terry Jones, will carry out the burning.

Well hell, just burn it all.
The Westboro Church are a bunch of cowards. They think they can offset the Koran burning by burning American flags.
Maybe they will throw themselves into the fire to make a point. If not, the muzzies might do it for them.
I saw an article here last evening that listed many of the victory mosques Islam adherents had built on the site of captured churches, etc. over the centuries. I did not bookmark it and now can’t find it again. Anyone happen to remember anything about it that would help me search it out?
Thanks!
Wow! Thanks for the lowdown on WBC.
I think Jones actions have elevated the news of the threats.
Al Gore attending Phelp's church
Yea, I don’t condone their hatreds, but it is definitely true Islam is not a religion, its a cult and a form of government, as for the Fl pastor, some days we’re the bug, some days we are the windshield.
America is far from perfect, but thank God its been there to hold our freedoms, the world will be a much darker place w/o her in many regards..
Just because I agree with one aspect of our constitution and laws does not mean I agree with all, we should not give haven to our enemies under freedom of religion, religion is for good, principles and moral uplifting aspirations, Islam is enslavement to a corrupt ideology. The same is true with the pastor, burning the koran while perhaps unecessarily offensive, does produce good by making folks think about where they stand about our country and the world, as far as the other spew concerning funerals etc..nah, thats just wrong..whether he believes they did good with their lives or not does not give him creedence to desecrate their memories at their funerals..he has the right to be all the ahole he can be..and certainly is seen in that light by many..
ie, we don’t have to swallow the whole pill on anything, we can pull out our own line item veto at will..
Battle of the Crazy Church’s! Maybe they could have a midget do the burning?
To confuse the Muslims.
Westboro Baptist Church is the lowest form of life on the planet. I don’t mind the smell of a Koran burning but I won’t cheer that bunch on.
Nothing good ever comes from inbreeding. WBC is proof of that.
Worse yet, they’re inbred attorneys.
> To confuse the Muslims.
Confusing a MoHamHead is probably the easiest task, because they are so brain-bleached by their satanic death cult, rational thought is short-circuited.
“Why the American Flag?”
Because he is an equal oportunity nutcase.
Equal distribution of hatred is still, technically, equality. There are few people in this world that I respect less than Fred Phelps.

This event, piled on top of the proposed action of the other Koran burners, now focuses laser-like attention on the fact that these are stunts, jokes and hoaxes by professional con artists which have sucked in the hysterical media.......and caused Barack Oblivious to lower his questionable presidential standards even more by poking his nose into something that will snooker him again.

Without being challenged? Sound like most of the country is protesting against it.
Then no doubt you would feel right at home there, protesting funerals, burning flags, and keeping the gothatesamerica.com website up to date?
Odd for a Baptist church to support Democrats in this day and age.
