Interpol, the international law enforcement cooperation organization with 188 member states, has explicitly warned Americans to not provoke terrorists this September 11th, the ninth anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States mainland by the Muslim terrorist group al Qaeda.
The warning was made as part of a statement requested by Pakistan that was issued Thursday by Interpol regarding the global threat of violent reaction by Muslims to the planned burning of Korans this Saturday by a small, formerly obscure Christian church in Gainesville, Florida that is seeking to draw attention to the evil, violent nature of radical Islam. However, Interpol did not issue a similar warning asking Muslims to not engage in terrorism in response to the protest.
Interpol Secretary General Ronald K. Noble singled out Americans for a special admonition in the statement:
"September 11 is a day when the world should come together to redouble our efforts to prevent and fight terrorism, not a day when any individual, especially an American, should engage in provocative acts that will give terrorists propaganda intended to convert September 11 from a day of remembrance, to one of recruitment for terrorists and others inspired to attack the US and other western targets."
Noble appeased Muslims while belittling the protest by the Dove World Outreach Center and its leader Pastor Terry Jones:
"Pakistans actions in contacting INTERPOL to ensure that potentially vital information in helping police identify and prevent any form of terror attack is circulated worldwide are to be commended, and the reaction of INTERPOL and others around the world in response to this planned hateful act should be seen by the Muslim community as strong evidence that this man and his small congregation stand alone."
Interpol fails to appreciate that the simple act of breathing by Americans is a provocative act to Islamic terrorists. Its focus should be on thwarting terrorism, rather than on First Amendment protected activities by American citizens.
Seems a bad idea to me. Flashing their cracker jacks badges is only going to get them in trouble.

Wake Up American Infidels, you are being rail-roaded into another middle-eastern trap.....our State Department is hopeless, hapless, and ill equipped to do anything that is not Politically Correct...........someone should produce the photo of Obama bowing to his Muslim leaders as described above.
Disgusting.
Interpol:”You POS cristian Americans shouldn’t even be seen or heard from! THIS IS AN ORDER”/sarc
How do you NOT provoke terrorists? For xxxxxxx sake, everything we do provokes them! Just living provokes them!
Correction: two churches.
Do I hear three?
Purge or be Purged
Does that mean I can have a smoked turkey leg?
In another thread, someone said that these churches burning the Koran may act as a societal safety valve, dissipating the anger at appeasement of Islamofascism in a harmless way, instead of allowing it to build and perhaps foment a civil war. I am minded to agree with that perspective.
Dear God, I hope not. If that happens, it will truly be the beginning of the 2nd American Civil War, and maybe World War Four.
Glad I’m not in that picture but I know exactly where that is. Boy Scout Troop has done the grounds clean up for the last few years.
I think America should make it an official “Kill a Terrorist Day:!
And on top of the Koran stuff, you have Imam Rauf almost threatening US if we do not build the mosque.
I AM SICK AND TIRED OF BEING RESPECTFUL!!!
I’ve just about had enough of this. Burning the book is a silly stunt. But threatening violence because a citizen of the US is exercising his constitutional right is utter nonsense.
So how about this...the sideshow preacher is going to burn the book, and if one American is harmed because he did so, we will kick every Muslim butt we can find.
I ask again, where are the so-called moderate Muslims telling the violent fringe not to overreact? Why do the Muslims insist, time after time, on taking the moral low ground? If the response had been more along the lines of “Hey, this is really insulting to a lot of people, but go ahead and make a fool of yourself if you think burning one book makes some kind of profound statement”, then he probably would not have bothered, or if he did, there would be a bit of sympathy for the Muslims and none of the press-induced hysteria.
You will never see them because they don't exist.
Thanks, Interpol. So should we just BEND OVER or start blowing up our OWN buildings!! I have two English words for you, Interpol. Wanna take a guess?
