WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama is exhorting a Florida minister to "listen to those better angels" and call off his plan to engage in a Quran-burning protest this weekend.
Obama told ABC's "Good Morning America" in an interview aired Thursday that he hopes the Rev. Terry Jones of Florida listens to the pleas of people who have asked him to call off the plan. The president called it a "stunt."

I think everyone is missing the point on this. The libs are not upset because we are burning a book of “scripture” but because of what might happen if it is burned. Murder, riots, revolts, etc. Is this the mark of a religion or an out of control cult?
I believe Obama’s teleprompted message to this nut in FL when he called and left a message was, “As a Muslim, err a Christian myself, I beg you with federal stimulus money not to burn that Quran!”
