The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 23% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-seven percent (47%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -24 (see trends).

Stated slightly differently, today’s poll indicates that 41% of americans are dumber than a sack of rocks and 23% so dumb that can’t focus long enough for their intelligence to be measured.

So one must wonder what the average person thinks about Obama when he’s attacking some one that they’ve never even heard of.

He has no choice. The Alinsky rules require that you attack the leader not the movement. But so far the Tea Party has resisted appointing a leader. So all of their favorite tactics don't work. That is why they tried to make Beck or Palin the leader so they could attack them. But that didn't work, so now they will try to make Boehner the leader. But he is too obscure and not a part of the tea party movement.

This is typical bunker mentality. Trying to use strategies that worked in the past, even when they don't fit the current situation. They are playing the class warfare card, even though they are now viewed as being the elite. They are trying the tar the leader strategy even though the tea party doesn't have a single overall leader. They are playing the race card even though the only people who respond to it are people that already support them. Obama is fighting the last war, and his socialist ideology is too rigid to allow him to adapt to the new situation.

What's it going to be on November 1st?

I'm not sure, but I can tell you what it will be on the third when the left decides it needs a scape goat for the previous day's pounding.
SA = 15%
A = 20%
D = 10%
SD = 55%

Basically what Bush had after the 2006 election when his own party started to turn on him. He will never lose the ethnic and communists, but their support will move from strongly support to weakly support as the are hobbled by their own emotional shallowness and will not back a loser.

Just 5 days ago, it was -23. Then surprisingly, it bounced back to -18, then today it is -24 ?

What’s it going to be tomorrow, -17 ?
