The President isn't exactly a socialist. So what's driving his hostility to private enterprise? Look to his roots.
Barack Obama is the most antibusiness president in a generation, perhaps in American history. Thanks to him the era of big government is back. Obama runs up taxpayer debt not in the billions but in the trillions. He has expanded the federal government's control over home mortgages, investment banking, health care, autos and energy. The Weekly Standard summarizes Obama's approach as omnipotence at home, impotence abroad.
The President's actions are so bizarre that they mystify his critics and supporters alike.

A long winded dissertation that explains why the founders insisted that a person be a citizen.
I don’t care about why obastard hates the U.S. so much as I do about how to make him go away. It is the same as saying that I don’t care how the dog became rabid so much as I do about getting rid of the dog.
Zero has some serious daddy issues.
Take the time to read the entire article. It is an excellent description of the goals of our president. It makes me curse all those that voted for him.
This man is CRAZY. BTW, 100% taxation is nothing new. LIBs have been spouting the meme that “all money belongs to the government.” The logical retort is that, if LIBs REALLY believe that, then they must support slavery.
But then again, nobody ever accused LIBs of having brains.
A socialist strives to nationalize industries. Obama has not nationalized banks, auto’s, etc. He has not even taken over Health insurance. Instead he has mandated every one to buy private insurance. Obama wants to control creators of wealth and redistribute wealth from those who create it to those who look for handouts. You really have to read the whole article to understand the difference. Under socialism the government actually owns and runs things such as under Nehru’s India the government owned and operated banks, railroads, steel making, aircraft manufacture, cement manufacture, telephone manufacture, commercial insurance etc.
‘The President isn’t exactly a socialist.’
Quite true; he’s an unabashed, out-and-out communist.
His family on both sides are Commies and, as he pointed out in his ghostwritten "Dreams of my Father," he deliberately sought out Marxist teachers in college.
Communism is his gut religion. He probably can't conceive of doing anything else.
Who says he doesn’t want to nationalize industries? He’s said in the past, long before his current job, that he saw the nationalization of healthcare as a two step process. We’re on step one. If things go his way in 5-10 years we’ll have the second step and healthcare will be transformed into an NHS style health system.
Just cause he knows how to be pragmatic doesn’t mean that his goals aren’t clear. I don’t get where the confusion comes in, his actions are in perfect accord with what he’s said in the past.

Hope and change you bet America and you got what you voted for or your friends did.IDIOTS!
This makes a lot of sense.
It sort of fills in the blanks, doesn’t it?
He’s a Marxist in the way that anti-imperialist African dictators were Marxists or his dad was. He sees it as a justifiable tool, but just one tool in his box of world-righting redistribution of wealth and power.
DITTO THAT !
LOL, nailed it
****BRAVO*** great read & one of the most truthfull analysis i’ve read of the ‘bam , tho not much familiar
with D’Souza-always figured he was lib
D’Souza enters territory where no other man has tread & it’s heartening and gives hope for mid-term elections & beyond.
God I love America!
He fits the classic definition. It's just that no one in the GOP has the guts to call him what he is.
Not to mention, student loans, which I just did.
This is an excellent article.
Obama is a socialist, like his father. But socialism alone doesn’t explain his hatred for America. Obama is an anticolonialist socialist, like his father.
Many of us have sensed that he hates this country. His refusal to salute the flag. His attempts to belittle America when he is speaking to audiences overseas. His refusal to acknowledge that the American form of government has resulted in a very successful, creative society.
Anticolonialism explains this attitude. Dreams from my father. Excellent insight.
