UN report: Iran has enough uranium for three nuclear devices

Iran has accelerated its nuclear program and currently possesses a sufficient supply of enriched uranium to make three nuclear devices, assuming it speeds up enrichment to 90 percent, according to a new report by the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The report was presented ahead of a discussion by the IAEA board of governors, as well as the organization's General Assembly, which will meet in Vienna this month.

According to the findings, Iran currently has 22 kilograms of uranium enriched at levels of 20 percent, and a total of 2.8 tons of uranium enriched at 3.5 percent. The material is being supervised by IAEA inspectors and Iran cannot make use of it for military purposes without this being known to the international community.

The report raises concerns, however, over what is described as Iran's consistent rejection of the IAEA decisions regarding the identity of the inspectors, and points out that in June Iran prevented two inspectors it did not like from entering its nuclear sites.

Muhammad El-Baradi, former NOBEL PEACE PRIZE winner, (currently running for President against Hosni “Hosebag” Mubarak in Egypt)is the former President of the IAEA. An organization that is supposed to stop the proliferation of Nuclear weapons around the world in especially in nations like Iran and N. Korea.
During his tenure, the IAEA did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and repeatedly supported Iranian claims.

Why did this man, who COMPLETELY ignored warnings about Iran for years get this Peace prize??? What did he do? What did he prevent? The answer is the opposite - this man and agency allowed Iran to march to the bomb!

NOW, after years of clearly knowing what the Iranians have been doing, now everybody is pointing to a threat and saying, uh oh! Somebody, perhaps Mr. El-Baradi and his cohorts at the IAEA made a lot of money to look the other way.

If he becomes the ruler of Egypt after Mubarak, look out Israel, look out West!!!

"...“Devices”? Are we back to that one again?..."

Yeah - I remember when China exploded their first Atom Bomb, and we called it a 'device'.

And soon enough “unexpectedly” Iran will detonate something or someplace and everyone will wonder how it happened.

Some people are too stupid to live I guess...

I'm sorry to say, but Bush played a big part in Iran getting the bomb. The price of Iraq was Iran getting the bomb. Not because Iran saw us as a threat after our invasion, they were already working on it, but because once burdened with Iraq, there was no political will to deal with Iran head on.

And when Bush was trying to build the political will to do something his own CIA leaked a report saying Iran had given up on the bomb and it was a decade or more away even if they were - which were all lies and no one was disciplined for it. Bush folded and any effort was over for all practical purposes.

“Mr. President, I would not rule out the chance to preserve a nucleus of human specimens. It would be quite easy atthe bottom of  some of our deeper mineshafts. The radioactivity would never penetrate a mine some thousands of feet deep. And in a matter of weeks, sufficient improvements in dwelling space could easily be provided.”
“How long would you have to stay down there?”
“I would think that uh possibly one hundred years.”
“You mean, people could actually stay down there for a hundred years?”
“It would not be difficult mein Fuhrer! Nuclear reactors could, heh... I’m sorry. Mr. President. Nuclear reactors could provide power almost indefinitely. Greenhouses could maintain plantlife. Animals could be bred and slaughtered. A quick survey would have to be made of all the available mine sites in the country. But I would guess... that ah, dwelling space for several hundred thousands of our people could easily be provided.”
“Well I... I would hate to have to decide who stays up and who goes down.”
“Well, that would not be necessary Mr. President. It could easily be accomplished with a computer. And a computer could be set and programmed to accept factors from youth, health, sexual fertility, intelligence, and a cross section of necessary skills. Of course it would be absolutely vital that our top government and military men be included to foster and impart the required principles of leadership and tradition. Naturally, they would breed prodigiously, eh? There would bemuch time, and little to do. But ah with the proper breeding techniques and a ratio of say, ten females to each male, I would guess that they could then work their way back to the present gross national product within say, twenty years.”

You're correct, Bush and every President since Reagan is responsible as well.

Which interest group leaked that false report about the Iranians stopping their attainment of Nuclear weapons? Why hasn't their names been released? Who were those liars?
They are really responsible as well.

The world looked the other way and sold the Iranians all they needed for 30 years. Now some are saying oh-oh. Why does Israel have to be put in this position time and time again after warning the world?
