Members of the New Black Panther Party showed up in Gainesville Monday to let The Dove World Outreach Center know it is outraged by its plan to burn the Koran.
"I believe in peace but if you aggress me, I am going to fight back," said State Chairman of the New Black Panther Party Mikhail Muhammad.
The church plans to burn the holy book Saturday on the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
The pastor's plan has reached all the way to Afghanistan where Monday hundeds of demonstrators burned a cardboard effigy of the Gainesville pastor, Terry Jones.
"We are not surprised at all that they are responding in that way because that's the nature of Sharia law, that's the nature of violent Islam," said Jones.

"We basically want to warn Pastor Terry Jones that if he burns this Koran, he's going to insight a wrath and chastisement on himself that he will not be able to bare (sic) and all he's going to do is add more division between Muslims and Christians when we should be sitting down at the table to resolve our differences," said Muhammad.
The New Black Panther Party say it will be back in Gainesville Saturday to show the church and the world they won't stand for religious hatred.

Are you kidding...my denomination probably hates what this Gainesville Church is doing. They’ll probably send an assault team in ski masks along with the New Black Panthers.

I grew up with a best friend who had a German artist father and an a Italian shrink mother... who blew her brains out.

What if churches are torched in Michigan and the Left coast “in retaliation?”
If this happens and some counter-retaliate against mosques, then 0b0z0 could jump on it and declare a state of emergency, which could result in postponing the elections indefinitely.
For a few months, I was wondering what would replace the “communist-anticipated” violence that never materialized from our side.
I just hope things don’t go that far, at least not before the elections. I want the communists’ asses whipped on November second, fair and square, if that’s possible!
If this doesn’t work, Obama and his thugs will try something else.
I really have a bad feeling about how hard the communists are trying to wiggle out of the elections.

The 911 connection and the recent attempts to build a mosque is what is fueling this ruckous over the Koran burnings. They’ve been trying to make Americans forget what happened 10 years ago!
FWIW there were several Popes who ordered the public burning not only of Korans, but also copies of the Talmud and other sacred Jewish texts. So if you need a modern example of Christians burning Korans, you need look no further than the Catholic Church.
Are you willing to condemn the Catholic Church for it's history of torching Jewish and Islamic Sacred texts? This of course does not even touch on the Catholic Church's burning of Mayan and Aztec texts as well as Protestant translations of the Bible.

The speaker's presentation (president of a newer Evangelical seminary) was absolutely excellent! I contacted him for his lecture notes and am writing a debriefing for my site. I sent him the .pdf of my most recent site article (A Rear-guard Action) and he thought very well of it.
They recorded the lecture to DVD and audio, but I don't know at this point if they make them available publicly or online yet.

Is it possible that church is successfully calling attention to the violence, brutality, intellectual suppression, and general cultural depravity of Islam?
