Yes, but those are the radical fringe right wing racist bigots who don’t want to pay their ‘fair share’ 56%.
Try the poll again in October, after health insurance premiums have risen again.
My projected premium in NY will go up 30% on 1/1/11.
The letter from my insurer says it is due to ObamaCare.
I say repeal everything they have done in the last 100 years and start over. This mess is Awesome!
It is a very simple FReep. Call both of your Senators, and your Representative, Democrat or Republican, and ask a simple question and then report the results on this thread.
"I am your constituent Bert from ??? and am helping with a canvass of the congress for Free Republic.com. Do you favor the repeal of the Health Care Bill? yes? no? reason?

Socialism will always fail eventually, but people seem to be slow learners.
“I say repeal everything they have done in the last 100 years and start over.”
Repeal of the income tax, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and Obamacare would be a good start and would resolve virtually all of our deficit woes. Of course, it wouldn’t be exactly fair to those already on SS and Medicare who paid lifetime taxes only to find their benefits taken away. Realistically, there would have to be a transition period to make such individuals whole but not trap everyone else into this Ponzi scheme.
Give the old folks their money back and start over.
“Give the old folks their money back and start over.”
I concur with the sentiment, but it’s not so easy. For example, given that they could have invested all that money taken from them, the question is what to give them back: everything they paid in plus whatever interest they would have earned in a completely safe investment, such as long-term Treasury bills? Plus whatever average rate of return the stock market provided over this period?
Like it makes a lot of difference, since that is going to happen anyway.
And let’s be realistic, China wouldn’t begin to loan us enough money to pay off those obligations.
Medicare alone is now over $13 TRILLION in unfunded obligations.
My only hope is that the Dems who implemented all this get the “credit” they richly deserve.
