Because of their votes.....how else? That doesn't mean they didn't listen. It only means they didn't take your advice. If you want things done exactly your way, you'll need to run for the office yourself. Just be prepared to be lambasted by everyone who disagrees with your every vote and utterance.

When they vote against the express wishes of their constituents and deign to give you canned responses....then yeah, they don’t listen.
I’m done making excuses for them. They need to do what’s right according to the Constitution or they need to find another line of work.

I wouldn’t buy a used car from John Boehner.

That’s fine, but no matter who is elected, they will never be good enough.

Sticking to the Constitution is good enough. Right now, there aren’t many that are good enough.

Actually, there hasn’t been any sticking to the constitution for decades. The voters want free stuff at someone else’s expense. Your battle and mine is with the voters. Unless the people stop using the federal government to steal the property of one citizen and give to another, no strict constitutional politician can ever get elected.

I just dont think he has the vision thing or is a great communicator. Making articulation, rhetoric and image part of the job description is what got us Obama.
Deal with substance: Character, policies and performance.
The rest is PR.

I for one, second the Backmann or Pence option. Personally I think Pence would be a better choice.

I agree. He can’t speak. He cannot utter 3 words without saying ummm and uhhhh. That does not inspire leadership.

The guy is not likeable. He has no personality at all. I dont think he is capable of smiling. For a minute, I thought you were talking about Mitch McConnell.
To: okie01
Hate to disturb your rant...but Boehner wrote the Contract with America for Gingrich. Want to revise your opinion? Aaron wrote the words for Moses. Did Aaron lead the Hebrews out of bondage? We need a smart tactician. Boehner is a blubbering fool. Next...

It is almost better to be obscure in the public’s eye. One thing that is killing Obama, aside from his gross incompetence, is he has no foil — he has to bogeyman Republican to go against.

I get that. And so have thousands and thousands of other Americans. THAT’S why we’re holding their feet to the fire now. It took too long to wake up but we’re awake now.
Business as usual isn’t good enough anymore.
