The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL MY DEAR FRIENDS ON THE DOSE!

. . . and yes, Decision Points is still #1 at Amazon!
Woohoo...have bookmarked the FB event. Now if I just remember
to have the computer on! LOL!
I can hardly wait to read this Best Seller! I think I’m getting
it for Christmas. Yay!
Thank goodness W will wow 'em!
As for the Left, no less a sniveling has-been (and never was), Georgie Ann Geyer had this breathtakingly elitist thing to say when commenting on GWB's book, which she did not like, of course:
The Texas governorship was perfect for a man of his limited curiosity. Observers may say, as they often do, that he lacks his father's superb international judgment -- but then, how could he NOT lack it? George W. was raised in a small town in Texas, not on the Eastern seaboard. His presidency may well mark the end of the transcendence of the Eastern Establishment in American politics, which his father so well exemplified -- and, thus, the end of its intellectual and moral superiority in the public realm.
Wow! Just wow! Snobs like Geyer must think the nation's western border ends at the Hudson and Potomac rivers. Geyer, now 75, has made her living writing for and talking to the "superior" Eastern establishment for about 45 years. Yet all of her books put together probably haven't sold a million copies. Jealousy rears its ugly head, I believe.
DrDeb, thank you, once again, for alerting us to interviews with President Bush. Don’t know how you find these events but I’m sure glad you do!! I’ve set my calendar to 2pm today for the FB event and 7pm this evening for the Rick Warren interview.
Thanks again! Have a great day!
((( Wolfstar )))! Good to ‘see’ you!
Just thought I would let you guys know of a You Tube video showing a split screen of the groundbreaking ceremony. It involves the “pinkie” moment where Laura touches George’s hand.

Lots of disgusting comments there, but then it’s not surprising, it’s from MSNBC
Yeah, I forgot to warn eveyone about that but for me the sight of OUR president and first lady responding to Cheney was so touching I still felt we could bear the commentary.
GWB UPDATE . . .
The President’s ‘FACEBOOK’ FORUM yesterday was great . . . You can watch the entire ‘clip’ here:

The President’s visit to Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church last evening was even better than his facebook visit. Unfortunately, the Church does not as yet have a videotape of the event.
