President Bush's "Decision Points" continues to be the #1 non-fiction bestseller for the reporting week to end December 5, 2010. Here's a link to the NYT bestseller list. The book is selling phenomenally well, both digitally and in physical copies, outstripping all other recent books by politicians and political commentators by a substantial margin.

As for the Left, no less a sniveling has-been (and never was), Georgie Ann Geyer had this breathtakingly elitist thing to say when commenting on GWB's book, which she did not like, of course:

The Texas governorship was perfect for a man of his limited curiosity. Observers may say, as they often do, that he lacks his father's superb international judgment -- but then, how could he NOT lack it? George W. was raised in a small town in Texas, not on the Eastern seaboard. His presidency may well mark the end of the transcendence of the Eastern Establishment in American politics, which his father so well exemplified -- and, thus, the end of its intellectual and moral superiority in the public realm.

Wow! Just wow! Snobs like Geyer must think the nation's western border ends at the Hudson and Potomac rivers. Geyer, now 75, has made her living writing for and talking to the "superior" Eastern establishment for about 45 years. Yet all of her books put together probably haven't sold a million copies. Jealousy rears its ugly head, I believe.

DrDeb, thank you, once again, for alerting us to interviews with President Bush. Don’t know how you find these events but I’m sure glad you do!! I’ve set my calendar to 2pm today for the FB event and 7pm this evening for the Rick Warren interview.

Thanks again! Have a great day!
