The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
‘..He did us all and America proud...’
Yes! At the end of the interview, I thought to myself....this is why I love this man. He so loves America.
He did a great job in the Lauer interview. I’m looking forward to tonight’s Hannity interview.
This morning Steve Doocy mentioned that he and Brian Kilmeade would be in Texas on Tuesday for the groundbreaking of the George W. Bush Center.
I’m listening . . . I could listen to President Bush and Rush chat all afternoon! [Love the ‘jab’ about golf and marriage!}
Hi Mr. President :)
I’m listening as well. It lifts my spirits for the moment.
How can you not love the man - a man of principle and moral values. He’s so magnanimous even after all of the terrible personal attacks against him and his family. History will judge his presidency, but we can see he is a great and honorable man. We are fortunate as a country we have had such a man serve and protect.
God bless W for sure, carton 253. You are in very safe territory here as we, too, love GWB. So glad you came here!
President Bush mentioned the following during his interview with Rush:

What a delight to hear from our guy!!!!
It was a great interview!
Too bad no one wanted a book signed by this unpopular president. ;)
THANK YOU for posting these AWESOME photos of a President who so obviously loves people (and these people love him right back)!
Oh my .. SUPER wonderful! The goodness in this
man just radiates on his face .. God bless him.
DMD .. thanks for posting!
Wonderful pictures of a wonderful man! Thank you for sharing them.
W is supposed to be on Oprah today. (I’m fighting the urge to take a nap because for him, I’ll watch her show. His parents are going to be on the show, too, and they’re going to show the Maine compound. ... I’m referring to it as the “Maine compound” because I’m too lazy to look up the spelling of Kennebunkport.) ;)
Amanda Fairchild, of Dallas, Texas camps out as thousands of people lined up for the opportunity to get up to two signed copies of a book by former President George W. Bush on November 9, 2010 at the Borders Book Store in Dallas, Texas. She had been in line since 8pm on Monday night. Read more.
As usual ..he's always early.. LOL.
(***MAKE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE VIDEO ON THIS LINK BELOW)
"An estimated 4,000 people, some of whom camped out overnight, showed up this morning at the Borders at Preston Road and Royal Lane for a chance to meet the former commander in chief and buy his memoir, Decision Points.
Bush, wearing a coat and tie and accompanied by security personnel, sat at a table and began signing books nearly a half-hour ahead of his scheduled time to start.
Terry and Tammy Jones was the first in line at Borders, with Tammy securing her spot at 2 p.m. Monday.
"I waited 18 hours for a kiss on the hand," she said. "It was worth it."
A note accompanied Bushs signature to his most devoted, and exhausted, fans: Im signing these with admiration."
Maria Belmares arrived shortly after 3 a.m. to find a couple of hundred people ahead of her.
"I wouldn't be out here for anyone else," she said.
Thanks for posting the pics. Just finished listening to the Rush interview. What a great man President Bush is!
Are you going to hear W speak at Wright-Patt on the 11th?

You know me well! . . . Yes, I got up a 4 AM, travelled to Dayton (from the east-side of Cincinnati) and was able to get my two tickets (the max allowed) before they all ‘sold out’ . . . Can’t wait!!
Are you going to be there?
Just wanted to confirm that hubby will indeed ‘burn’ for you a copy of President Bush’s interview with Lauer. As a bonus, the dvd will include the President’s ‘first pitch’ ceremony at the World Series. [As soon as it’s done, I’ll send you a freep mail.]
Sadly, no — other than hoping you’ll let me hitch a ride there with you in spirit. ;)
