Time is Running Out

None of our political leaders are discussing these root causes to the problems of our economy:

1. The percent of people between 40 and 55 years old is decreasing.

2. The purchase of foreign oil is draining 5% of our economy each year.

3. Manufacturing is decreasing as a percent of GDP.

The negative impact of each of these is documented in my book, Save America Now. Our politicians are not addressing these root causes to our economic problems. Instead, they are implementing programs that waste money with no results at creating jobs.

......Instead of tackling the problems of a negative birth rate, foreign oil, and the loss of manufacturing; our government is imposing programs that harm us even more … like mandatory health “insurance,” cap and trade, the GM union bailout, pension fund bailouts, teacher bailouts, bank bailouts, abortion funding, alternative sex education, gay marriage, tax penalties on married people, more government employees, and amnesty for illegal immigrants. And all of these programs continue to harm our culture and our economy. They continue to reduce the intrinsic birth rate, increase our dependency on foreign oil, and chase manufacturing out of the country.

So why do politicians ignore these root causes? Because their political survival is more important to them than what is actually good for America. They pander to banks, unions, feminists, insurance companies, foreign governments, teachers, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, etc. who are the very ones who are killing our economy.

Time is running out. So, what are we going to do about it?

(Excerpt) Read more at atlah.org ...

TOPICS: Business/Economy; Culture/Society; Government; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: birthrates; joblosses; manufacturing; pooreconomy
What are we going to do about it? How can we stop the impact of teachers and entertainers on our children? How can we stop the back room deals by politicians?

As the article on Atlah says: "no children, no future."

And the USA is only producting half as many children needed to maintain our population, let alone enough to keep up with Muslims and other 3rd world countries.

So what are we going to do?

I agree. There are none so blind as those that will not see. It is inevitable that these things occur in the last days. The Bible says so. Read it.

Get right with God. Time is short.

The 40-55 year old crowd are losing their jobs as well.

The solution is obvious: we need more sex! ;)
{But on a slightly less light note, it should be between married couples so that the children would be cared for correctly.}

The USA’s current immigration policies are sufficient to ensure we refresh our worker base — with people who WANT to be here and work legally.

If it was upheld instead of undermined, we would be in great shape.

That is all we need do. Uphold the law as written.

yes. 40 to 55 year olds are losing their jobs. but what is most important is that they have dropped dramatically in their % of the population and they are the biggest consumers. So if they drop in number, then so does consumption and jobs.

did you read the article about why they have dropped in numbers?

You are correct. As in Rome in 500 A.D.,we have offended God with abortion on demand, gay marriage, and the deterioration of the family as God meant the family to be.

As an employer I would like to add what I see as the biggest problem: people.

The workers coming into the workforce are poorly educated despite bearing high school and college diplomas. Worse, they lack enthusiasm and initiative to work. For example, my Office Managers have all had HS diplomas yet NONE of them can do the math I could do in the third grade.

My best workers have been legal immigrants who grew up poor and under tough conditions. They are damn glad to be here and have a job. The spoiled, soft native born kids I have hired could not cut it.

Beyond that, America is in the hands of lawyers who think they can regulate and tax us to prosperity while handicapping our manufacturing companies in homage to Gaia, the green goddess.

you are correct about so many things.

let me add that 80% of lawyers are Democrats. And almost all of the Democrats in Congress are layers. My head professor in our MBA program said that whenever the legal staff is running a company, that company is close to death.... no innovation, no product emphasis, no efficiencies. the same is true for the USA.

The root cause of our economic mess is too much regulation. We need to pull back all regulation to conform with original peonciples: to protect the general public health, safety and morals from substantial injury. Anything that smacks of “promoting the public welfare” or advancing the public interest needs to be incentive based and not regulatory. Major reforms to NEPA/CEQA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air, Endangered Species, etc. would be a good start.

My local Representative says it is his duty to “stand up for the American family,” as if American families are not under assault by government policies alone; as if American families cannot make it independently from his “help.”

The American family lives by the grace of God and all that proceeds from His abundance. Mr. local Representative hasn't figured that out.

"When I went to work with [Brooksley Born] and she was telling me, "This is what you're up against," she told me that she had had this lunch with Alan Greenspan, and he had said to her probably that she and he were going to have a disagreement about something, and the subject was fraud. And he didn't believe that fraud was something that needed to be enforced or was something that regulators should worry about, and he assumed she probably did. And of course she did. I've never met a financial regulator who didn't feel that fraud was part of their mission, but that was her introduction to Alan Greenspan."

This article is kinda stupid, and riddled with errors of fact. I don't think it's worth much attention.

The 40 to 55 year olds are in their peak earning years. They pull the cart for tax revenue and consumer purchases. That wave of peak earning boomers is facing unemployment and hitting mandatory retirement. They will switch from being big taxpayers to forced users of the government dole with social security medicare.

Nick Danger. So are you the famous Nick from Fire Sign Theater?

If so, then look out for Rocky Ricoco.

The premise of the article is correct. If you listen to Steve Forbes on Sat, then you have heard him discuss this also ... that goods have a much greater effect on the economy that do services. And the biggest consumers of goods are the group of people who are in middle age.

Without immigration, those in middle age have decreased in numbers for the last couple of years and continue to do so until at least 2020. This is a direct result of the negative population growth sold to America by liberals as part of Row v Wade in the late 60s and 70s, etc.

To keep the manufacturing plants humming, people need to consume. and negative population growth hinders consumption.
