I think those like Laura, Ann, Beck et el, as well as those in gongress, have been told that if it is proven that Obama is not elligible the collateral damage will be so great that the country will deteriorate into chaos. Their fears of chaos is greater then the damage done if he remains. Does that make sense?

Oh you know they are all laughing all the way to the bank. I think the only talk show host I trust is probably Rush and Hannity. Maybe Levin and Savage. Sean is a nice guy and sometimes a lightweight who is too freindly with RINOs. I think Rush is the only real deal.
The rest are all bandwagon jumpers trying to cash in. I liked Ann Coulter but she pretty much skimmed the cream off the books. The rest are all pretty lame.

The testimony from this General is nothing less than devastating. Soebarkah will not be sleeping tonight, and will be in hiding tomorrow until the judge makes the call in his favor. If the judge orders discovery I expect Soebarkah to go into a murderous rage.
Surprisingly, Hannity has stayed away from the issue as well. They will all be proven wrong in due time. Last night was a desperate attempt to regain authority and look like a real CIC and he failed miserably. He will never fill the shoes of a Commander in Chief. He needs to come clean with the American people and release all of his records.
I don't believe these concerns are "widely held" by the American public or military. If there were valid concerns, then it might be an issue. But there is not one bit of evidence that he was born anywhere but the United States.
