According to our Constitution, the Commander in Chief must now, in the face of serious-- and widely held-- concerns that he is ineligible, either voluntarily establish his eligibility by authorizing release of his birth records or this court must authorize their discovery.

I don't believe these concerns are "widely held" by the American public or military. If there were valid concerns, then it might be an issue. But there is not one bit of evidence that he was born anywhere but the United States.

The evidence would be the records sought...which have never been produced. A COLB, in the Hawaiian format, is pretty suspect...as are the practices of the Hawaiian government on issuing BCs.

In regards to this issue being a concern “widely held”....if you don’t see that it is (based upon polling) then what else can one say to you. A substantial number of Americans have doubts about the POTUS’ birth circumstances. That has been repeatedly demonstrated by various polls. So...substantial doubt exists. It behoves the POTUS to end it with some concrete documents and not....”take my word on it” rhetoric.
