President Barack Obama dismissed a recent poll showing that a third of Americans don’t know he’s a Christian – and blamed an online campaign of misinformation by his conservative enemies for perpetuating the myth that he’s a Muslim.
“I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead,” Obama told NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams, sitting under a tent in a rain-soaked New Orleans, where he commemorated the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
“The facts are the facts. We went through some of this during the campaign — there is a mechanism, a network of misinformation that in a new media era can get churned out there constantly,” said a visibly annoyed Obama, referring to “birthers,” who have waged a guerilla campaign questioning the validity of his Hawaiian birth certificate.
“I will always put my money on the American people, and I’m not going to be worried too much about what rumors are floating around there.”
A stunning 18 percent of Americans identify Obama as Muslim, according to a Pew poll released earlier this month. Only a third identified Obama, who speaks passionately about his faith in his autobiography, as Christian.

Even our pundits (J.R.Dunn at American Thinker) seem to thing the 14th Amendment defines natural born citizenship. It is reminiscent of “Invasion of The Body-Snatchers:” People whom one assumes would have read the Constitution they write about suddenly show that they are pretenders, either ignorant or propagandists. (Dunn is probably the former; his writing usually leans conservative).

They bring up the BC and his Muslim faith at the same time in the inerview. Its understandable.
But he is getting nervous because of the pressure to show the BC in the next 12 months in order to run again in 2012.
He has to show in 2011 if we keep the pressure on.

He also had his Presidential passport shown ... to divert attention from his Mothers passport where he is called Soebarkah, the little Muslim boy from Indonesia.

If it came from the DoH in Hawaii, dated 2007 as displayed, it should have had 'amended' printed on the front because his vital records have been amended since at least his adoption by Lolo Soetoro; without amended as officially required by HI, the COLB image is a fraud. If the document did not come from the Hawaiian vital records department then it is a forgery. The thing that images have captured on the Internet cannot be genuine, Period. There are also telltale signs that the the thing posted on the Internet has been changed and three different images have all been touted as genuine, when none of them is genuine.

There are still so many people out there who believe that anything posted on the Internet MUST be true. I remember an argument I had with someone months ago about BO's COLB--"It was posted on the INTERNET!" he snarled, as if that made it gospel. So many people have their heads in the sand...

Barack Hussien Obama never talks of being baptized. In his book he talks of having a "personal relationship with Jesus Christ." As a sign of that relationship, he says, he walked down the aisle of Trinity Church when Pastor Wright called him/them to come forward.

No, it wouldn’t.
There is so much politically invested in Obama as President that neither the [heads of] the Legislature nor the Judiciary will voluntarily pursue the issue; to put it simply it would be too much of a “loss of face” for them... not only that, but it would open them up to charges of Treason [how is installing an ineligible president AND covering for him *NOT* giving aid and comfort to the enemies of America? It’d literally destroy the validity of the Executive branch and cast (well founded) doubt on the integrity of the other two branches].
But then again, maybe what this country needs is a bunch of politicians swinging from lamp-posts.

What I can’t figure out is if Rev. Wright was once a Muslim, why is there not a ‘Fatwa’ against him? Could it be that Rev. Wright is secretly still a Muslim? Or someone is giving both of them a pass to let them lie to others?
