He’ll have a hard time filling either Rush’s or Carl Rove’s shoes.
He’s subbed once before, and I found him listenable....far superior to Mark Davis.
I wasn’t on here during Rove’s fill-in day but I did listen to the podcast.
What did you think of Rove? I thought he displayed quick wit and good humor but got hung up on the inside-baseball minutiae of polls. He is no doubt a past master of the political arts but I didn’t hear much about principles from him.

I’m remain kerfuffled about it.
Rove started off slow, really slow. But then he picked up amazingly. Loved him.
He was being careful but was having a really good time. He was using his time to get into liberal heads and rattle around. He was dry in his presentation and masterful in the execution.
It is not necessary to get balled up in principles where regardless of what you say, you will be attacked.. He was a guest for the first time in the seat. Better to set a precedent for biting wit than to invite fire from all corners.

Doesn’t Urbanski fill in for Savage?
I haven’t listened to Savage lately. The last couple of times I tuned into Savage after not listening to him for awhile he had guest hosts on, so I turned it off. I don’t care for guest hosts and want to hear the main guy. Yes, everyone deserves a day off once in a while, but Savage abuses it. This is why I stopped listening to him.
I’m sticking for the interview with David Limbaugh; although I enjoyed listening to Doug first time around anyway...
