I thought it was bad enough that recently a local hospital tried to get x-rays of my wife that were ordered for someone else. X-rays at least aren't invasive, and don't get you beat up!

You don’t come in here and tell us what to do - is this future of Obamacare?
To: Domandred
I’d use some of that settlement money he’s gonna get to buy a good azz whoopin for two certain security guards.
A couple years down the road of course.

"He adds that one guard repeatedly called him "bitch" as he roughed him up. "Obviously a caninephobic hate crime.

This guy shouldn’t have any problems winning $10 million from these fools.

HE would be gettign a whole hell of a lot more than $3.5 million if I was on that jury
And part of the settlement would be arresting the ‘officers’ for assault

If this story is true, I would think a call to a lawyer might be worth a few minutes of this man's time. False imprisonment is a serious crime.
Just wondering, though...
Do'ya think maybe there's some language tucked deep in the Obamacare bill that makes it possible for health care facilities to detain a person against their will? Changes to legal language that has the effect protecting or immunizing health care providers from legal action stemming from such actions? Changes in language that was originally intended to enable mental health facilities to hold dangerous patients against their will, expanding the domain over which that language is applicable?

I wonder if this will be called a hate crime. After all, Obama’s enforcers attacked an innocent citizen over health care.

Lately, the ‘staff’ at my mother’s GP (these girls never WERE professional or cordial) have become absolutely intolerable.
Now, they are real drama queens. Must be an epidemic.

Ghetto patient in a ghetto hospital: I would like to hear the other side of this tale.
The story sounds fairly preposterous, especially with the prospect of lawsuit lottery big payouts.

This hospital just did so many things wrong the mind boggles. If they have anything akin to a QS-9000 or TS-16949 certification it ought to be revoked until they get their act together.

Everyone who prevented this couple from leaving should be fired immediately, and perhaps charges should be filed for unlawful imprisonment or something. At the very least those who got physical should have assault charges filed against them.
