Agreed.

If Arizona wants to vote in favor of lawlessness and destruction, then let them sleep in it.

I, for one, do not have pity on Juan McAmnesty's voters anymore.

They are on their own.

The baseturd is sure to forget his lies and promises now he’s won his primary. This is probably his last term and he won’t care about the next election.

The Dems had a closely contested Senate race.

Gee isn’t that funny, everyone has known for months that Glassman would be the nominee.

After offering her original endorsement, how often did Sarah fly in to campaign for McCain? Did she do any robo-calls for him, as she did in myriad other campaigns in the country?

I doubt very seriously that anyone who had been inclined to vote against McCain would have changed their vote based on Sarah's basic endorsement. They would have already made their decision based on their years of experience with McCain, and the fact that there was a clear conservative choice in the election.

The majority of Republican voters either wanted to maintain McCain's seniority in the Senate, or they just didn't like JD. It is no more complicated than that.

> “The bright side is that maybe rabscuttle will stop his incessant posting.”

> You can “scuttle” that thought, even though JDs ship got scuttled. As a PDSer, he will have plenty of opportunities for a continuance of his inane comments. Pissant designated him to carry on the fight after he bailed out.

First of all, please have the courtesy to ping whoever you are talking about.

Second, while I’m disappointed that Palin decided to back a RINO rather than a true conservative in this race (as well as backing FioRINO in CA), I hardly think this qualifies me as having “PDS”. Surely we can challenge the decisions of even usually conservative people without being insulted. Or maybe we have to agree in lockstep on everything? Last I knew it this was FREErepublic.

Remember that there is plenty to celebrate today, as the established GOP really has to take a cold, hard look at what people want and are voting for. That idiot Steele can’t just dismiss us with a wink and a nod. We ARE here, and not only do we VOTE, we GIVE — but only to true conservatives!

As soon as the DemonRATs got into power (with the help of some Republicans), they killed the U.S economy. When that happened, the drug market in the U.S. shrank. The drug cartels found that their share of the market was killing thier profits (it also slowed U.S. dollars into these countries). Hence, they are fighting each other for that market share with more and more violence. Think of what would happen if we closed the border completely to them. It would be like animals fighting for the last watering hole.

Our porous border allowed the drug network/system to establish itself over the years. Now it has grown into the monster it is. Also, think of the drug cartel as an offshore corporation with lobbyists in Washington DC. I am sure Senator McCain is very familiar with what has happened. And he is sure as hell not going to let the DemonRATs fix it because they are in bed with the drug cartel.

SuziQ, I am pinging my good FRiend and conservative Arizonan StephenJohnBanker to provide what during wartime would be called an "after action report", I think you will find his observations highly insightful.

SJB? Have at it.

Palin did a fundraiser for McCain here at the Biltmore, then more 4 public appearances here for McCain.

Then she did 3 interviews with McCain on Fox television.

Then she sent endorsement letters to the tea party branches all over Arizona. ( I personally visited 6 of them)

Then for the past 6 months, her radio ad claiming that McCain is the “last best chance” for Arizona has run every day, 24/7 on the 2 biggest conservative talk show stations in Arizona

AM 550, Phoenix

AM 790, Tucson.

The ads must have now run 700=800 times.

Palin started in on Hayworth at the beginning of March, and kept her foot on his throat all month, which harmed his momentum and fun-raising capabilities. She confused tea party members.

Palin is not fit for dog catcher.

Now that Palin has succeeded in her task to help John McStain prevail over J.D. Hayworth, the time honored question must be asked, "who profits?" or "who benefits?" from this accomplishment?

Do the people of Arizona truly benefit from the return of the Traitor McCain to his Senate seat so that he may pursue his never ending reach-arounds to his 'Rat things across the aisle, to the detriment of his own Party, to the detriment of America?

Do the American people benefit from seeing this Quisling who had the gall to tell the electorate that America "need not fear" an 0bama Administration? Does our Republic benefit by this liberal-progressive snake selling out our Nation as he done consistently as he wobbled and flip-flopped as political expediency dictated, cozied up to the likes of Fat Teddy Kennedy, John F'in Kerry and their ilk? Does anyone truly believe that our borders are going to be made MORE secure now that John McCain is returning to Washington for another six years?

Let's see a show of hands!

Wellll lookee there, I see Saint Sarah, who can do no wrong, waving those pom-poms like the McCain cheerleader she is, this is the same Sarah Palin who stated without hesitation that she had always 'admired' McCain and that she "shares his vision for America".

If it were anyone but Sarah Palin uttering some rubbish, all of FR would be united as one voice saying not just 'no' to such a political opportunist, but

"HELL NO!!!!"

Unfortunately, in this new era of personality over substance, all it takes are a few dozen winks, a bunch of "you betchas", and juvenile utterances about 'Mama Grizzlies' or some other similar claptrap, and the masses, even allegedly conservative masses, faint dead away in orgasmic bliss.

And so dies true conservatism.

She confused tea party members

Again, I ask, if someone was not inclined to vote for McCain, based on their own personal experiences of the man, as their Senator for many years, why would Sarah's endorsement have confused them?

I don't vote for someone I don't like, simply because someone I might otherwise like endorsed that person.

Because it was a landslide, that's why. Decades after news organizations started calling races based on selected precincts, one would think you would understand it by now.

This race was called months ago. JD was a flawed candidate.

The only way this victory for McCain can be a blessing in disguise for conservatives is if enough conservatives win this Nov and are able to tell this rino, POS to sit down and STFU! IOW, strip his ass of every bit of power he even thinks he has!

You did not see this coming? I don't understand that at all. Everyone knew McCain was going to win - he had the money, he aggressively pummeled JD, he was ahead in the polls by huge margins and finally, JD, while likeable was not the strongest candidate.

I hesitate to make light of one comment, but you must have been out of the country for a long long time to not have known McCain was winning big. Please keep up with the news better. We all need to be informed.
