Get high, get high, get high.....McCain
The bright side is that he's old.
That would require character and lack of ego.
Well, I do live in the state and I may do just that. I cast my last vote for McCain in 2008... won’t do it again.
I hope these results are wrong.Otherwise Arizona,Thanks for nothing.Your going to have to live with the decisions RINO McCain makes.
The results are from only 11% of the votes, if I’m reading it correctly. Looks like a lot more votes to be counted.
No, no, John McCain isn’t for amnesty, he’s for normalization..ha ha....
Unfortunately he had it in the bag from the beginning. For whatever reason Arizonans just like the guy. For the life of me I don’t know why but they just do
Disgusting. I can hear the cheering from Mexico. Their man has won and real Americans have lost.
“If anyone better than JD had been running, McCain would not have won.”
There’s no one better than JD in Arizona or a lot of other states.
It looks like RINO’s are doing really well.
Establishment political machine just keeps up same old, same old.
Thanks Sarah You helped put this POS back.
Stupid stupid stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not true, McCain spent 20-1 over JD, but more than that... I told everyone before JD even through his hat in the ring — something BTW Freepers were BEGGING him to do — that John McCain OWNS the Arizona GOP...... if he had run his presidential bid with the same scorched earth he ran this campaign he might be president right now.
So the average voter in AZ thinks McCain is a good idea?
May Allah open the fence, praise be to Allah.
You get what you vote for.
And obviously Az wants Amnesty at the federal level.
If I live in that state, Id go ahead and vote for the Democrat over Juan.Hopefully there will be an independent Tea Party candidate so Arizonans don't have to vote for either.
There are a number of conflating factors.
In no particular order:
1) McCain spent $20 million of his 2008 campaign money (which he should have used to defeat Teh One).
2) He flooded the airwaves with ads.
3) He had the Palin endorsement.
4) JD is not an outsider -- he had served in Congress for 12 years before losing and going into talk radio.
5) JD has a reputation as a lover of pork.
6) AZ allows independents to vote in GOP primaries IIRC.
7) McCain has name recognition
8) McCain ran hard RIGHT to the campaign.
And Fox has been in the tank for McCain: right now according to the AZ Secretary of State page, 17% of ballots have been cast and McCain leads 199,060 to 99,498 with Jim Deakin pulling in 38,579. Recall that Al Franken won in MN due to a 3-way race with the third guy pulling in 14% of the vote...
NO Cheers, unfortunately.
