PHOENIX -- Sen. John McCain expressed confidence he will win a fifth term as he dropped off his primary election ballot at a polling place in uptown Phoenix Tuesday morning.
McCain, accompanied by his wife Cindy, arrived at Madison Camelview Elementary School a few hours after the polls opened.
He spoke briefly to reporters: "It isn't over until it's over. We're looking forward to moving forward after tonight to the general election and working just as hard as we did in the primary and taking nothing for granted."

From what I have seen since January 2009, I would say the DemocRAT...but not by much considering who is the so-called Republican.
Remember in November: Defeat the ‘RATS, then the RINO’s.(To do the latter, you must do the former FIRST.)
I think I would vote for the Dem. Mccain is a Dem in leadership position in the GOP.
I wish Juan McAmnesty had hammered the messiah with half the zeal he’s directed at JD.
OK, you convinced me.
Now: How do we ensure that McCain will vote our way on ANYTHING that we care about such as immigration?
We’ve lost the vote anyway. Although I tend to agree with you in principle I honestly don’t see as much of a down side to this gamble as you do.
All that matters are the votes. McCain won’t deliver. SO what’s the difference? At least with a dem we have a clear target to isolate and attack.
If McCain prevails today, then you should vote for the Tea Party candidate that will surely run against McCain in November.
If that helps deliver the seat to the Democrats, then so be it.
What’s worse, a Democrats who votes with his party, or a Republican who votes against his?
Either way, the votes are the same. But at least a Democrat doesn’t give the Democrats ‘bipartisan’ cover when he votes with them.
FUAZ! I have no sympathy for them. Let them be over run by Mexicans. They ask for it by re-electing McCain.
dem or RINO what’s the difference? McCain should not be rewarded for his treachery
There is no Demonrat conservative enough who conceivably could run against Juan who I could vote for. Of course, not being in AZ, I won’t have to consider that, thank goodness.
The differenc is with McCain you have a liberal with a high leadership position in the GOP.
Even Beck’s sidekick Pat Gray is against Hayworth. Sickening. He said he wouldn’t cry if McCain wins. Just doesn’t like Hayworth. Well, I’ll cry for him.
HELLO....what happens in the intervening time.....??? Quit being so short sighted with your views....it’s a continuing fight...
I second that. McCain is an evil man. Just look at how he ran this campaign vs. the presidential one.
Vote McCain in November... hoping Juan croaks and Jan Brewer appoints his successor?
OK, OK, I accept your flames. And I’m not from AZ so I’m not voting one way or the other either, never fear.
The question still remains, and not just for McCain. We need to put more pressure on RINOs. But how? How can we get McCain to forgo amnesty, for instance? That is important.
I guess it all depends on the number of seats we have after November.
If he had spent his money to Obama as he has to defeat Hayworth, this nation might not be in the mess we are today.
This Senate seat is in the bag for the Democrats. JD, if he wins the primary, is not a strong general election candidate. McCain will be weakened after this primary fight and Dems will hover over him like vultures.
With the support of SB 1070, and most in AZ against Amnesty...JD has a very good chance to win the general election. Contrary to Liberal RINO myth...being tough on illegals actually brings in crossover votes.
It will take him no time at all to get back to his favorite pastime. Being the Darling little pet of the Leftwing media.
Beck is an employee of Saudis over at Fox and he is a profiteer off conservatives. Rush is the real deal. Hannity is not in Rush’s league but he is not a fake like Beck.
Beck did a lot of that moral equivalnce sh*t by saying “well a pox on Democrats and Repubs cause they are all the same.” Beck and his pal O’Reilly are also anti-birthers to keep their Saudi bosses happy and cause they are both whores.
