PHOENIX -- Sen. John McCain expressed confidence he will win a fifth term as he dropped off his primary election ballot at a polling place in uptown Phoenix Tuesday morning.

McCain, accompanied by his wife Cindy, arrived at Madison Camelview Elementary School a few hours after the polls opened.

He spoke briefly to reporters: "It isn't over until it's over. We're looking forward to moving forward after tonight to the general election and working just as hard as we did in the primary and taking nothing for granted."

Eff McCain. The creepy wife and daughter quickly shut up about that gay marriage stuff. I do hope JD wins.

Yea, McCain, we figured you weren’t taking anything for granted when you spent $20 million to destroy your opponent. So much for your campaign finance reform. What an evil man you are McCain

Did he forget all the years he took us or plain forgot us for granted?

I didn’t.

The Democrat that runs against Juan in November can expect a contribution from me.

My wife and I got into a discussion the other day on whether we should vote for the democrat over McCain in November. I know it sounds crazy but McCain is a very dangerous man. Just think of how many people and media outlets (including fox) he got support from. McCain will single handly destroy the conservative agenda.

Are you are using Firefox? One parentheses is wacked... happens to me too. Plus wacked question marks at times.

Lets hope that JD pulls out the upset.

Probably worse than Arizona re-electing him...is that so many alleged “conservatives” supported McCain and attacked JD

Arizona does not realize that John McCain, once returned to the Senate, will work to do away with AZ SB 1070. You betcha

I guess if he were he wouldn’t have shelled out $20 M of his father-in-laws fortune.

McCain is evil. Every lib paper, magazine, Soros polling companies, AZ TV, national TV rallied around him. He is arguably worse than Obama.

That Democrat won't need a contribution.

McCain will be weakened with very little money leftover. Since the Dems are expected to lose some Senate seats, McCain's seat will be ripe for the salvaging.

Hayworth supporters won't support him, and Dems sure as Hell ain't going to "crossover" for him. I really see McCain losing his seat in the general.

Unfortunately though, he's going to win the primary.

This Senate seat is in the bag for the Democrats. JD, if he wins the primary, is not a strong general election candidate. McCain will be weakened after this primary fight and Dems will hover over him like vultures.

If Juan wins and the democrat running against him is weak perhaps conservatives should vote for the democrat then hammer that person for 6 years and ultimately get a true conservative in there.

McLame’s votes won’t be reliable anyway.

What would be worse. A Democrat Senator from Arizona or another 6 years of McCain? The republicans will pick up other seats.

Putting another leftist in the senate would be worse. I would do what I did in 2008, hold my nose and vote for him.
