McCain spent $21 million this time. FYI:
When McCain was elected to the Senate in 2004 he received 1,505,372 votes.
Anyone in Arizona, with early voting and the growth in absentee ballots most places, does Arizona still have its vote count results the night of election day?
I once actually liked and donated to McCain in 2000. I far prefer JD in 2010. McCain twists and turns like a tethered balloon in the wind. Once elected he will work for amnesty just as he did 5 years ago.
Thanks but no thanks to McCain the opportunist.
Throw the ruling class out!
Voting starts at 6:00 A.M. I think I shall show up in my JD Hayworth T-shirt to see if they kick me out.
Even his senate brothers have nothing good to say about the old fool.
[snip]Aug. 23, 2010 - Reached on vacation in California, Mr. DeConcini, 73, who served 21 years in the Senate, made clear first that he was no fan of Mr. McCain. Were not the least bit friendly, he said.
Then he went on to analyze the candidate. Its not that I was above changing my positions, but McCain has made it an art form, he said. He was a maverick, but I guess hes not anymore. One thing he is is vulnerable. He cant change that.

AND
Transformers: John McCain, Charlie Crist Both Changed During Primaries
ABC Aug. 23
[snip]The transformations have so far paid off for both men. In Arizona, McCain is now the clear frontrunner in the primary after spending $20 million. In Florida, a Quinnipiac University poll showed Crist leading both Republican former state House Speaker Marco Rubio and the two Democrats vying for a spot on the ballot in November Rep. Kendrick Meek and billionaire Jeff Greene.
ABC’s Jonathan Karl asked McCain about the perception that he was changing his positions for the primary back in March.
“What happened to the old John McCain? The John McCain that worked with Democrats, that reached across party lines, you know, was a thorn in the side of his own party, what happened?” Karl asked.
Take immigration. In 2008, in the heat of the presidential campaign, McCain told Univision that his plan for the Mexican border did not include “fences and walls,” but facing a tough Republican primary challenge from former Rep. J.D. Hayworth, McCain cut a television ad in which he walked along a remote border fence with an Arizona sheriff and said, “Complete the dang fence.”
McCain had cosponsored comprehensive immigration reform legislation with Sen. Ted Kennedy in years past, but now argues that the borders must be better secured before a more comprehensive solution can be pursued. He was one of a handful of Republicans to vote with most Democrats in favor of comprehensive immigration reform legislation supported by President Bush in 2005 and 2006.
Special Election Night Ping: 2010 Ariz. US Senate GOP Primary
Update: Tue. 08/24/2010 18:20 EDT / 15:20 local time Phoenix, Ariz. (approx.)
McCain votes: `Taking nothing for granted' (KTAR-FM 92.3 Phoenix)
Light turnout expected in state's first Aug. primary (illegals, SB 1070 top issues in Ariz.) (KTAR-FM 92.3 Phoenix)
This is THE election result that matters, if McCain wins, IT IS ALL OVER for us nationwide. I will not waste my vote in NOvember if McCain wins, since that means all the RINOS will stay in power.
Although J.D. Hayworth’s infomercial did huge and rightfully damage to his reputation, he is by default only, the best candidate.
Unreated; It looks like Rick Scott is going to beat out McCullum 47% to 43% if the lead holds it’ll be Scott who spent 50 million of his own money vs Crist & Meek who won his primary.
FYI
AZ SoS election results website is up and running. No results yet.

I voted for John McCain today.

RIP GOP ... 6 more years of GOP Socialism. Time for a third pary. Obviously AZ loves their illegals.
They get the open border they deserve. No more sympathy from me.
