The “mosque debate” “strains” the Tea Party in the same way a tea-strainer strains the dross out of a cup of tea:
It separates the pseudo-Conservatives like Lindsay Graham and John McLame and his whacko daughter from the rest of us, making clear the differences, and in so doing performs a HUGE service to the GOP!

says who...Neither the tea party nor the GOP started this debate. Obama really fanned the flames himself by weighing in and bringing it to more people’s attention and then it really became a political issue. Then Pelosi followed up by suggesting those who disagreed with the mosque be placed under investigation. Then the issue over who is funding it and the true motivation behind it, and the ideology of those behind it. It is not just about a building.
