According to Geraldo Rivera, the new location would have to be south of Houston St. but could be east of Broadway which moves the mosque well outside of the zone understood to be "Ground Zero".

LOL
“Even if the compromise happens, it doesnt matter in the long run. The damage has already been done to Obama and his supporters.”
I agree - WE WON!!! if this is true. If we want to deal with a terrorist group (i.e., Muslims) putting up meeting places throughout the country, we can fight that battle another time. This particular battle was over one meeting place and the Dems looked like ABSOLUTE IDIOTS in the eyes of Americans.
Let’s not whine about victory (as it’s so rare these days).
I agree. The cat is out of the bag and there is no putting it back in.
As long as he has Saudi Arabia’s promise to foot the bill, what he worry?
Now I won’t have to buy any pigs on my way to NY.
The guy has to compromise because if he doesn’t the Dems get slaughtered.
Obama opened his big mouth and now the Muzzie has to cave.
Dems won’t have it any other way , now.
The people have spoken.
Heres a better compromise.. Throw the U.N into the east river, build the moon-god temple on that site, and then once its built throw the moon-god temple into the east river as well.
LOL....what a great idea!
How about if Saudi just builds it in Mecca.
Compromise, COMPROMISE???
Only Jerry Rivers would make a stink in the media about "compromise".
Living, breathing, gray area Jerry and all that.
How could "compromise" even be conveyed as a "fix" for such an issue....
Let me guess, Barry will come out within a week and insist upon a "compromise" to keep the peace, at a 19th hole media get together. .
If only the mosque would go away.
(These happen to be my thoughts about Favre as well, but with considerably less intensity and seriousness. The mosque and its adherents are straight from the Pit and smells like smoke. Favre is just annoying.)
Looks like this project has whacked a few dozen hornets nests.
This Hamasque outrage doesn’t belong within 20 blocks of Ground Zero.
They are in active discussion with "The Messiah" presently to relocate Mecca to NYC.
See, to me that stat is not all that important in the matter. I believe a state has the right to deal with their own issues and certainly a city should be able to do so too. But then when you consider 63% of New Yorkers (as in citizens of New York City ) are dead set against the Mosque then the point is mute. The mosque should be moved away from the general area of Ground Zero!
>> If Jerry Rivers said it, then it’ll probably end up a half block closer ...
funny
“Obama opened his big mouth and now the Muzzie has to cave.
Dems wont have it any other way , now.”
Agree - sounds like victory to me.
If these folks really wanted a “cultural outreach center” or something like this, why does a mosque need to even be part of it. Isn’t there already a mosque within walking distance of the original proposed spot? Or why not build it as an annex to a mosque they already have.
A friend send me this little piece of (barely) satire:
My Building Permit:
I recently applied for a building permit for my new house.
It was going to be 100 ft tall and 400 ft wide with 9 turrets at various heights and windows all over the place and a loud outside entertainment sound system. It would have parking for 200 cars and I was going to paint it snot green with pink trim.
The City laughed and told me to go to h_ _ _. I sent in the application again, but this time I called it a Mosque.
Work starts on Monday
We can take all of the losses we’ve had since Obammy’s taking office, roll them up in a big ball and relabel them as VICTORY THIS NOVEMBER! WOOOO-HOOOOOOOO!
Is Obama going to hold a “beer” summit over this?
