Just now on Fox News it was announced that Obama issued a press release stating that he is a practicing Christian, consults with 5 pastors, reads the Bible and prays daily, and has daily devotionals sent to him. The report did not say whether he read the devotionals.
I can just see him trying to wriggle out of that one:
“Well, you see, when Jesus said that... umm... it depends on what he meant by the word “AM”... yeah that’s the ticket!”
Should be entertaining to see him try to lawyer his way out of that quicksand on Judgment Day!
The hate filled and bigoted message he listened to for 20 years in Rev. Wright’s church could hardly be called Christian. I would say that Obama’s religious views are far closer to those of Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam than to any mainstream Christian church.
Check this out...
when I quoted John 14:6 to a liberal, “many ways to God”, self called “Christian”,
she said with a straight face - “That’s not what He meant!”
John 10:14”I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me
Gen 3:1 "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"
Would it surprise you to know that illy Graham believes there are many paths to God. That Jesus is not the only way? I saw him make that statement to Larry King barely alive, when King asked him directly if Jesus was the only way.
In order to be a liberal, even one that professes Christianity,
one must deny the authority of the Bible,
because the message of the Bible refutes everything about liberalism.
Haha, I’d just reply “Well, explain that to Him when you see Him then!”
That wouldn’t shock me too much, I’ve seen similar statements from other so-called “Christian leaders”.
I heard recently that all religions do, indeed, “lead to God”.
All the others, though, lead to Him as JUDGE,
not as Savior.
Right. A premeditated press release would be jaw-droppingly stupid, even for O.
Yes, it would surprise me. Graham should know better. But then, Christianity isn’t based on what one professes but what one believes in their heart. If they truly believe such then, as I understand the Bible, they aren’t a Christian. Whether it be Billy Graham or someone else. But who am I to judge?
That’s a good one, I’ll have to file that in the memory banks.
I wonder if he going to become a bible-toting-church-goer now. Like -—all of a sudden.
Well, I’m claiming to be the Queen of England. Or a supermodel. Gee, why not both? Claiming and the truth - not always in the same ballpark.
If the Oblame-a is really a Christian is only known to God, but his actions sure speak to the contrary.
she said with a straight face - Thats not what He meant!
Well, what should we expect from someone who considers themselves a Goddess...?
ok
May God forgive us for what we have brought on our children.
Truly a Road to Damascus experience - except retroactive. Yessir, re-writing history ain’t no problem at all!
