The campaign of Republican Charles D. Baker, under pressure from the Democratic Party, has abruptly deleted an online photo of a supporter wearing a T-shirt that compares President Obama to Hitler.
Governor Deval L. Patrick's campaign aides jumped on the issue earlier this morning, asserting that the presence of the photo of the woman wearing the T-shirt -- which has pictures of Obama and Hitler and a swastika -- is further indication that Baker is courting his party's fringe elements. The wording on the shirt says: ''HITLER gave good speeches and had his own symbol too.'' Next to Obama's photo is the president's campaign logo.

Baker campaign spokesman Rick Gorka said the campaign quickly removed the photo after contacted by the Globe. He noted that it was one of 1,200 up on the campaign's Flickr page. He said that it ''clearly doesn't reflect the views of the campaign.''

Baker's courting of conservatives during the 2010 campaign, including his strong support for crackdowns on illegal immigration, has stirred some criticism from moderate Republicans.

I have no problem with this.

:-)
Hitler had lots of yoots working for him too!

Interesting that a black woman was wearing it. That probably offended the Democrats more than the Hitler reference. Where were these “sensitive” people when George W. Bush was compared to Hitler?
Insert *That’s Racist* picture here.
Baker is pure RINO. Voting for him in Nov. is not going to be pleasant at all. Only because Deval is so odious will I vote for Baker
So, how many leftist politicians disavowed the “Bushitler” signs of a decade ago?
Note my tag line.
