SENT
Good point.
Shut the door!
You should send that to DRUDGE...
The unspent stimulous money is nothing but a slush fund to be used during OJerko’s next run.
Anyone listening to the daily feed on 24/7?
Rush jipping Barack Barack Hussein 0bama, all blessings be upon him, saying “muslims have the right to build a Mosque anywhere they want”. BRILLIANT!
Fred Thompson: China has officially passed Japan to become the world’s second-largest economy.
Obama must be pretty disappointed, after he’s worked so hard trying to grab that spot for America.
I read that, I’m sure BJ Clinton is happy.
Weve got his number;
Paul Krugman Gives Up
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2563646/posts
...But things got worse for the professor. Matching Krugmans repeated claim that the stimulus was too small, Sean produced peer-reviewed economic science from Alesina, who examined 92 attempts at stimulus since 1970 in OECD countries and found that tax cuts, but not spending, stimulated. Krugman stammered a reply, but the damage was done; his acolytes had learned that economic science existed that contradicted Krugmans claim (central to Obamas stimulus legislation) that governments spending your money helps an economy.
...By July, Krugman had lost his Battle of the Blog. On July 23, Latrina commented, Who is this Sean from Florida? He takes everything that [the] Professor [says] and shreds it, piece by piece. He shouldnt be allowed to post his comments on this blog since he seems to be winning all the debates. We progressives need to stick together and embellish our talking points without someone from the outside pointing out fallacies in our ideology.
Is there a bigger sad-sack than Paul Al Krugman?
Rush just mentioned that the decline of Camden coincided with the loss of manufacturing. I know something about that.
My grandfather was the top tool and die maker at RCA in Camden. The CIOA was pushing to unionize RCA. They had already gotten into Philco and were pushing for RCA. The men were not really interested, they had their own union and were happy with the local control of the union. After WWII, though, the CIOA made a big push to unionize and got into RCA without a vote (kind of like card check). The workers elected my grandfather to be the first president of the CIOA machinists and electrical workers at RCA. The CIOA officers were not happy with the choice of my grandfather and asked RCA to move my grandfather to management so that he could not serve as president of the union. My grandfather said no thank you, I like my job. A few months later, my grandparents were run down by a hit and run driver as they stood on the curb in front of their home. RCA closed the plant and moved out of state without the CIOA. That’s how Camden lost their most important industry. When my grandfather recovered from his injuries, the voters in Camden County elected him to be their state assemblyman.
Do they still make Campbells soup in Camden? Used to be a big business there.
Did they ever catch the driver?
I believe that Campbells headquarters is still under the Ben Franklin bridge, almost next to the old RCA plant. My mother and two or three of my aunts all worked at Campbells at one time. It’s one company that didn’t flee.
Another slow day in Hussein Obamaland I see...NOT!!
Had a phone interview Friday AM. Face to face interview at 3PM tomorrow. I’m hoping and a praying.....
Well good luck my FRiend!
Poor Bubba.
No, it was just as hit and run. I don’t think that there was ever much effort put into catching the driver. The unions didn’t let their jihad against my grandfather drop after RCA closed the plant, though. As I said, my grandfather was elected the Camden County state assemblyman, but he only served on term because someone from the union accused him of being a communist and reported him to HUAC. Their evidence was that he had been seen perusing the headlines on a communist newspaper as he stood waiting for the bus. He probably did read the headlines. He was an avid reader. His father was an English professor at the University of VA. He read everything.
Fascinating! What happened after he was reported to the HUAC?
