No, it was just as hit and run. I don’t think that there was ever much effort put into catching the driver. Their evidence was that he had been seen perusing the headlines on a communist newspaper as he stood waiting for the bus. He probably did read the headlines. He was an avid reader. His father was an English professor at the University of VA. He read everything.
