WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama on Friday forcefully endorsed building a mosque near ground zero, saying the country's founding principles demanded no less. "As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country," Obama said, weighing in for the first time on a controversy that has riven New York and the nation. "That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances," he said. "This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable."

Oh yeah??? Because when I think of that faith, diversity does NOT come to mind. I think of a faith that allows people of differing faiths to be KILLED because they don't believe.

I think everyone should make sure they have their passport and a plan to get out. If he’s re-elected we won’t even recognize this country by 2016. Without the values, freedom and everything America stands for, let’s face it, it’s just another piece of land. I was browsing amazon.com for Washington Irving's book Tales of the Alhambra, and came upon this interesting review from 2006:

That Obama argues for this completely on the basis of free expression of religion and property rights (hilarious coming from him) and simply doesn’t care about the issue of an attack by Muslims on the WTC site says all I ever need to hear from this president. He is a simple-minded person who simply doesn’t have the creativity of thinking required for the office he holds—and it certainly doesn’t take much creative thinking to understand the reasons why this mosque is a horrendous idea.
