I have a question. When Mayor Bloomberg’s mosque goes up on Sept 11, 2011 at ground zero, will the Mullah be shouting the NAWAZ (Allah is great call) six times a day from speakers mounted on top of the building or from minaret as is required by Islam?
In other words, as New Yorkers pass the spot, six times a day there will be the broadcasted shouts of the nawaz out to the streets (which start at 4AM in the morning)?
I have another question. It is against the dictates of Islam that any parade pass by or along the street where there is a mosque. Countless tnes of thousands have died in India, murdered because non-Muslims happened to have a parade go by the street of the mosque. Endless riots in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and so on. So how about the street in New York? Will we band all parades to comply or be “tolerant”? How many riots are going to break out by Muslims over parades?
I sure hope so!!!!!With the volume so high, Bloomberg can hear it 24/7!...

I still have a mental image of the woman kneeling in front of the AK to get her brains blown out in the middle of the soccer field in front of little kids and fellow villagers.
Just reminded me of a story Jack Paar once told. Paar was a world traveler. At one point he was somewhere in the Middle East when he was roused out of bed very early in the morning by the Muslim call to prayer. He said he found out later that the call was actually tape recorded. He said even the cleric didn’t get up that early.
This is a good question.
Once this thing is in place the Muslims will be able to sue over every little thing that offends them. The will chip and chip away at NY City until they run the whole thing.
I also wonder, given the sentiment against this, could they really get it built? I mean, would it mysteriously burn down several time during construction. After all, New Jersey is pretty close.
Correction on one point, Brian, if I may. When I have lived in Papua, Indonesia, we have had innumerable parades that go past mosques. While you may have your basic fact correct, I am not challenging that, I do know that in the largest moslem nation, it isn’t necessarily upheld.

I suppose someone could challenge these calls as disturbing the peace or violation of noise ordinances.
But in this PC society, he/she/it would probably lose.
It may come up like the building in Florida, so contaminated with Anthrax that it had to be torn down, (the one that the press never mentions.)
Shopkeeps at GZ could synch their speakers and blast the National Anthem, God Bless America, etc., over the area during these times.
Hopefully the Techno music from Turban Cowboy will drown it out.
I have to travel to Malaysia on business occasionally. One morning I was up at 4:00AM (jet lag) when the call to prayer went out over the quiet city.
The only response to the call was the howling of dogs. I laughed so hard. Only the un-clean animals took note of the call to prayer.
I cracked up when I heard the name ‘Outfidel’
Why should they get up that early. It not about a shared sacred space or divine enlightenment, its about... control.
"To arms! To arms! The muzzies are coming!"
If NYer’s have the stones, it will not be built in the first place.
