The Tea Party Express team continues to criss-cross the state of Alaska - rallying support for Conservative Republican U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller.

On Thursday, August 12th, the Tea Party Express will hold a Meet & Greet open to the public in Sitka, Alaska.

The event takes place at 11:00 AM:

JUNEAU — The national group Tea Party Express made a stop in Juneau last week...

...Navy SEAL and Tea Party member Benjamin Smith said he thinks Murkowski wins votes because of her name, not her voting record.

“She voted over three hundred times with the Democratic Party,” he said. “You have Arianna Huffington of the Huffington Post calling her a democrat, and that’s someone way on the left … that has some implications as well.”

Murkowski would have been a great senator 20 years ago, said Sal Russo, Tea Party Express strategist and former aide to Ronald Reagan, but times have changed.

“Right now you need people in office that aren’t afraid to say, ‘No, this is wrong,’” he said, “much like Reagan was willing to say the Soviet Empire was an evil empire.”

During this year the Tea Party Express has helped boost a lot of conservative constitutionalists in key races across the country. Thanks to your support that looks to be happening once again. One month ago polls showed Liberal RINO, Sen. Lisa Murkowski, with a lead of 32-points over her conservative challenger, tea party hero Joe Miller. This past weekend we learned of a new poll of 1,223 Alaska voters that showed Joe Miller has now jumped 23-points, and now trails Sen. Murkowski by only 9%.....
