I was so pleased to see a Conservative, Black Lady running for Congress in Tennessee's 9th District. I hope some of you TN FReepers will check out her website and lend your support.

Wow a very brave women God bless her
“Those two leaders that were elected and given a chance to lead our community; they have not done the job. So, bring in the woman.”
I’m all for that.
She has a terrible website.
It is not about beauty but effective marketing.
This isn’t a criticism of the candidate, but I agree the site looks like something from the late 90’s. Too much going on at once. It’s like someone vomited and then uploaded it to a server.
Leave some space so our eyes are drawn to the important points. I’ve we’re interested we’ll explore the rest of the photo’s and things later.

Is this ironic or what...We’ve got a Black woman backed by white voters coming up against a White man backed by Black voters. Politics makes strange bedfellows.
I do like this candidate, however, they are right, her site could use a little clean-up just to bring focus to her message. A campaign website should have a flow that, first sends the eye to the candidates name, then to a main message statement, then to a donation link (if that is your goal).
A slight re-arranging could help. Here are some examples:

None of this is anything against the candidate, heck, I’ll probably throw some money her way after checking her position statements and the like. Just following up on what others said so if she does stumble on this, it may help a little bit.
Not when you look at it as a Conservative candidate backed by Conservative voters versus a liberal candidate backed by liberal voters.
Gail—I know you’re keeping up with this race and so wanted to alert you to this thread.
Thanks for the ping. There is a poll to help get Charlotte more exposure in yesterday’s thread.
This was yesterday’s thread, it concerns her obama butt kisser’s opponent racial comments.
Dem US REP Steve Cohen opens mouth inserts racial foot (my title LOL)

I think the web site is ok, all the photos show she has supporters of all colors. It is combining the campaign with the Tea Party stuff she does. You have to have some one who does web designing on your team or be able to pay for it. That she took a small amount of money and turned it into a primary win took some hard work. Her 2 opponents didn’t even bother to have web sites or yard signs.
Charlotte pulled herself up by her boot straps from poverty, raised her children, went to college, and paid the loans back. Has worked in the private sector and created jobs as a small business owner.
POLL

Charlotte Bergmann is in this weeks TBF poll for rising conservative stars! At the end of the week, the winner will be promoted by a network of over 70 conservative blogs and will receive a flurry of contributions from patriots across the country. Supporters please vote.
Also a F from any Right to Life group.
He is a total obama butt kisser, pelosi says jump, he says how high.
It’s a very Democratic district, but even her running sends a strong message. And it’s not at all unreasonable to suppose she could win.
Other black Republicans running (Most likely to win at the top)
Tim Scott, SC-1
Allen West, FL-22
Bill Randall, NC-13
Ryan Frazier, CO-7
David Castillo, WA-3 (must still win primary)
Vernon Parker, AZ-3 (must still win primary)
Crystopher Smith, CA-39
