Anybody else catch the Star Treck emblem on his shirt? At least it’s not a red shirt LOL.

Wasn’t a great president, but he is a great man.
I’d sure as hell take him back over what we got now!

The smiles from the troops are surely genuine! And, from the President.....totally loving and genuine!

I certainly did nor care for his final four years, but there is no denying GWB respects and loves out military. And for that (and other things), I will always like him.
Just imagine the faces of these soldiers if it were Obama greeting them.

some years ago at a rally or convention for the Dems Anne Richardson was at the podium and made a joke about GW “being born with a silver foot in his mouth”. Well, i always liked Richardson for her humor and comments and it could be true but GW , i miss you and it is certainly refreshing to someone doing a job that SOMEBODY ELSE( & we know who that is) ain’t doin’and in his retirement to boot.

I did not agree with some of the things he did, or didn’t do, but I have tremendous respect for the man. He truly loves America. God Bless You, Mr. President.

Obama's PR stunt:
After the president's final scheduled event around 6 p.m. Wednesday, White House staff asked a small group of pool reporters to remain, and eventually informed them they would be accompanying Obama by helicopter to Dover. Marine One took off from the South Lawn of the White House at 11:44 p.m., and arrived in Dover after midnight, according to pool reporter Alex Leary of the St. Petersburg Times.

Two of my most treasured memories was being in line to welcome home a planeload of soldiers on leave during the hardest times in Iraq. The fact my daughter was one of them had something to do with it, but there were better men and women than me doing it every day, and I appreciate them greatly. I feel guilty for not joining them from time to time, but GW should feel much more guilty than I. Don’t start a war you can’t finish is a motto all presidents should live by.

WOW!! What a great surprise for those troops after a long flight and hard tour.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see scattered photos of our Great Pres Bush between now and November to buttress the effort.
Not that this event it totally political...he loves the troops.
