On Wednesday, Air Force Two was involved in what is being described as a minor accident at Long Island, New York's Francis S. Gabreski Airport. According to the Associated Press, no one was injured after the "jet wash" from Biden's plane damaged the wing of a smaller plane as it passed close by. The Vice President was on-board the plane, which took off, apparently unaware of the damage left behind.

Air Force Two damages another plane while departing Gabreski

As Vice President Joe Biden left the East End Wednesday morning, his aircraft left some damage its wake.

Upon leaving the SheltAir parking apron, or tarmac, at Francis S. Gabreski Airport in Westhampton at around 9 a.m. the jet blast created by the engines of the vice presidential plane, Air Force Two, damaged the left wing of a single-engine aircraft that was parked a few hundred feet away, according to Anthony Ceglio, airport manager.

Mr. Ceglio said the small plane was a “tie-down” plane at Malloy Air East, one of the airport’s fixed base operators, along with SheltAir. There were no injuries, and the occupants of Air Force Two were likely unaware anything had happened at the time, he said. The manager added that he did not know exactly why things went awry and he recalled a similar incident occurred about five or six years ago.

Mr. Biden had been vacationing in Southampton Village from July 30 through August 4. He then left the East End for a meeting with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg in the city, before returning to Southampton on August 6.

He stayed at a private residence on First Neck Lane at a home belonging to philanthropist and technology entrepreneur David Bohnett,

"The official plane, dubbed Air Force Two, was carrying Biden and his wife Jill as it taxied for take-off from West Hampton airport in New York state, some 120 kilometers (75 miles) east of New York.

"The 757's engine wash lifted the Piper Cub aircraft that was tethered down in an adjacent parking area, causing damage to the Piper Cub's left wing," an Air Force statement said.

The Boeing C-32, a special version of the popular 757, was carrying the Bidens back to Washington after a two-week vacation with friends in the Hamptons, a popular summer spot for wealthy New Yorkers in eastern Long Island."

Joe Biden Is Relaxing on the Beach Today

What's Joe Biden doing right now? He and Jill Biden are taking in some sun at Cryder Beach in Southampton, according to a tipster who generously sent along a few photos of the shirtless Vice President under a beach umbrella.

The Bidens have been spending weekends in the Hamptons this summer. Who knew, though, he was brazenly breaking the law while there? "His dog isn't on a leash," the tipster explains. "Let's hope he doesn't get a ticket." We're guessing he won't. He has a few Secret Service agents with him who are presumably keeping a lookout for the authorities.

This was as close as our dear tipster wanted to go while pointing a camera at a shirtless Vice President of the United States of America, during his vacation. Understandable.

Fortunately, the wonders of technology allow us to zoom in. Is the nice bikini lady one of Biden's Secret Service agents?

TWO WEEKS IN THE HAMPTONS IN THESE TIMES ?? Dearlord. I think if old Joe was considered an integral part of the admin, with all these disasters, he wouldn't go away for 2 weeks, chillin' in the Hamptons .. leading one to wonder if maybe he's really not on the team for '12.

At least the beach wasn't cordoned off like they did in Spain for the First Antoinette, but talk about imperviousness to the country's sickness with all of them.

The internal security report completed March, 1999, said the hole ON TOP of Brown’s head could be a bullet hole. Jesse Jackson called for an autopsy
to see if it was a bullet hole. Haven’t seen anything on that either.
