Pedophilia isn't a valid argument to those of us who believe that children cannot consent. However, there is a segment of society who disagree with this position. Therefore, IMHO, this possibility should be an area of discussion.

Homosexuality was once deemed a mental disorder. That was politically changed. Homosexual behavior was once against the law. That too has been changed. People who engage in pedophilic behavior (this is not as uncommon as people might think) truly believe that the child of their desire wants to engage in sexual activity. In fact, many have claimed it is the child that seduced them. We are witness to the degradation of marriage in this lifetime. Something that I thought could never happen. I, therefore, must prepare for the possibility that the future may see pedophilic behavior become an acceptable practice. It appears that is the case in some areas of the world already. Mankind is capable of the most horrific atrocities.

Technically, you are correct. Legally, the door is now wide open for other challenges under the 14th Amendment, and based on this ruling, they would have to succeed.
