Army gags officer challenging Obama eligibility

FT. BELVOIR, Va. – A decorated military officer who is challenging – in military court – President Obama's eligibility to be president was taken into custody and escorted under guard back to Walter Reed Army Base today after a hearing, apparently so he could not talk to the press or his attorney about his case, according to his defense attorney.

The Army held a hearing today at Ft. Belvoir, Va., for Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, who posted a YouTube video challenging the Army to charge him after he refused to deploy to Afghanistan again this spring because of his concerns that Obama is ineligible to be president, and orders under his chain of command then would be suspect.

The hearing was on several charges of disobeying commands and "missing movement," and was held by Col. Denise Lind, who has been assigned to be the military judge in the case.

At the conclusion of the arraignment, Lakin was ordered not to speak with the press and was taken back to Reed under military escort, surprising and disturbing a civilian lawyer who has been working on his case.

"This was completely inappropriate. Col Lakin was brought here and taken away from here as if he was a common criminal. He was prohibited from talking to the press for two minutes; he was prohibited from talking to anybody, even me," Paul Rolf Jenson said.

No. The de facto officer doctrine protects subordinates from prosecution for following orders that were LATER found to be from a usurper.

It does not protect those who follow orders from someone KNOWN TO BE a usurper.

An Obama is KNOWN TO BE a usurper.

An Obama is KNOWN TO BE a usurper.

It is theorized and speculated, but it is not "known".

I actually DID wish Michael New well. I think the decision sucked. Having said that, the other two you mentioned were a whole different bag...and you KNOW it. Do I detect a whole lot of moral relativism here? There is no way to equate these people with Lakin. None.

There is no true fold. Thing is, there are nuts on both sides of this issue. Some of us want the truth and NOTHING but the truth. Others make up their own truth and want everyone else to follow it to hell.
So allow me state for the record exactly what I believe.
I believe that obama is not a natural born citizen of this country.
I believe that he is a muslim AND a criminal.
I believe that a horrendous fraud has been perpetrated on the people of this country,
I believe that crimes have been committed to perpetrate this fraud.
I believe that whoever aided this fraud should be hung for treason.
AND I believe that others who ofuscate this actual fraud with bogus claims do more harm than good and I question it, big time because it has given those who never want the truth known a mighty weapon which they have used to THEIR OWN advantage and to the country’s detriment.
BOOM. Nutshell.

“It is theorized and speculated, but it is not ‘known’”.

Oh, but wouldn’t you LIKE to know? Really? Once and for all?

NS, it is hard for me to understand the progressively communist left and their hate for our constitution.

Can't help you there.

Surely, you realize that it is the only thing between liberty and the misery of totalitarianism. Why do you want to extinguish Liberty?

So...if I point out where Lakin is wrong and acting in a foolish manner then suddenly I'm out to extinguish liberty?

Surprise, surprise.

Having said that, the other two you mentioned were a whole different bag...and you KNOW it.

No I don't. How about explaining it to me?

You say “Lakin is charged with disobeying orders”, but the specification includes the words LAWFUL orders, that is the the heart of the defense. The orders were not LAWFUL cos they derived fron a usurper President.

So again, does that mean that every single order given by every single officer and NCO in every branch of the military since January 20, 2008 been illegal? Every one? Even those given by Lakin himself?

Obama could be found to be an Alien? And Lakin would still be guilty?

Yes. Regardless of Obama's status, Lakin still refused to obey the orders of two superior offices and he did miss movement. Obama's eligibility or lack there of doesn't change that.

Seq, you are so funny! Are you drinking tonight? Good to see you haven't lost your sense of humor!

I was perfectly rational when I posted that. Not sure if the same can be said about you though.

Well, gee, darlin’. The International criminal court that the bammer so desperately wants us, U S, to be a part of might actually ask the same question if he succeeds. So, we better find out soon, don’t you think? What with all those poor, innocent “civilians” whose doors we are kicking down in the middle of the night and murdering in “cold blood” and all.

And a lot of people around here who claim to be rational are nuttier than fruitcakes. IMHO, of course.

Not really. I ask myself that question fairly often these days.
