Sarah Palin may be a popular pick for Republicans in 2012, but the former Alaska Gov. is staying cagey on her presidential plans.
"I've never committed to running for president," Palin said on Fox News Sunday. "That's not where my focus is."
Instead, Palin says she is devoting her attention to getting Republicans back in office this fall.

Sarah Palin is not 'committed to running' for president in 2012, White House bid not her 'focus' LOL.
A screaming headline signifying nothing.
No potential candidate has "committed to running" yet, and focusing on the 2010 election cycle is clearly the thing to do, and say at this point.
Here's the full context...
QUESTION: Do you care about that? And how do you persuade the American people that you're qualified to be president?
PALIN: Well, I've never committed to running for president, for one, and I know that polls are fickle, so we won't even talk about the approval rating or the favorability. As for the unfavorable, you know, I don't blame people for not really knowing what it is, in some instances -- what I stand for or what my record is because if I believed everything that I read or heard in the media, I wouldn't like me either. So you know, that's one thing. But I want to make sure that we have, especially in these historic midterm elections -- we have people elected -- and I want to help them get there -- to turn this country around and put it back on the right track. And you know, people are going to be worried about 2012 in future months, but that's not where my focus is.

You suffer from a sever case of emotional projection. You project your short comings and failures onto those around you.
Make a fact based rational argument for your views on Palin and people here might listen.
Yet none of you Palin haters have done that. All you do around is scream hysteric diatribes about “Alinsky tactics” at everyone who doesn’t share your emotion based opinions about Palin.

I know the chart is real, but hey, we had all positives and zero defecit under Clinton remember that? That didn't happen until after the Republicans took over the House, in 1994, then Clinton was forced to accept Welfare reforms, and for the first few years, the Republicans toed the line on spending, which created the surplus. The 2001 budget was actually the last budget under the Clinton administration.
Sadly, their majority went to their heads, and Republicans got the earmark fever. That started their upward climb in spending, which only got worse after 9/11, and the downturn in the economy, which lowered revenues, but spending didn't go down to match the decreased revenues. Their profligacy was a major reason the Repubs. lost their majority in Congress. Scared by the election results in 2004, the Repubs slowed spending somewhat, and in 2005 and 2006, the deficits started going down, but when the Dems took over Congress, spending rose dramatically, so there is CLEARLY a difference between the parties!

Your problem Johnnie, like many of your fellow Palin sycophants is that anyone who isn't on board the Sarah Express to Glory is automatically relegated to being a 'Sarah hater', which is exactly the same tactic used by the 0bamunist hordes back in '08 and even today when anyone speaks a critical word about Comrade Zero, they are automatically labeled a 'racist', a 'hater', blah-blah-blah.
You want a "fact based rational argument" regarding Sarah Palin's unsuitability for higher office?
Here you go:
She is an inconsistent conservative. One day she supports conservatives, next day she supports RINOs. She has the unmitigated gall to tell the voters of Arizona that John McCain is a REAL conservative, when everyone and his dog knows that the one thing McCain is NOT, is 'conservative'. She proudly states that she "shares John McCain's vision for America" and anybody who made it out of grade school ought to understand that such a vision is NOT conservative!
You want more?
Sarah Palin's net experience in prior elective office consists of being Mayor of Wasilla Alaska, and serving a partial term as Governor. We've seen in the past what happens when inexperienced and ill-prepared candidates manage to make it to the White House, first with Jimmy Carter in '76, and last time with 0bama in '08.
The fact is, we need a President with far greater experience in the military/national security realm, and despite all the trite claims about Sarah Palin having been 'Commander-in-Chief' of the Alaska Air National Guard, et al, that doesn't count for squat when dealing with enemies like Iran, North Korea, China, Russia, etc.
It is common practice among many of the more shrill Palinistas to sneer and assail a REAL Reagan conservative, i.e., former Congressman Duncan Hunter, but comparing HIS resume' with Sarah Palin's will only end up minimizing and embarrassing her "I Betchaness".
But by all means, let's go there if you like.

It’s pure charisma to try to push amnesty down America’s throat and to wipe your rear end with the 1st Amendment via McCain-Feingold-Thompson, like McCain did. Pure charisma to be the mayor of the most prominent sanctuary city in the US and to be a gun grabbing tyrant to boot, like Rudy. Pure charisma to flip flop so severely that one can’t remember which side of an issue he’s on and to be the midwife to bring ObamaCare into the world, like Mitt.
It’s also obvious and substantial charisma to look like a deer in the headlights on any semi-hostile interview and to try to push McCain as a tea-party favorite, like Ms. Palin.

I guess Palin does not have the “cojones” like Jan Brewer does...besides Palin being pro-Amnesty.
Supporting John McCain over JD Hayworth kinda kills that Presidential bid

ex-Governor Palin's infamous interview with Bill O'Reilly comes to mind. He wasn't (IMHO) overly hostile but her facial expressions and pursed lips alone did not project the most telegenic image (since everyone is so hyped up on 'charisma').
But WTH, let's all raise our glasses in the first of a series of "UBetchas!"

The Dems must have loved Palin putting on the Windfall Profits Tax on those Oil Companies in Alaska. That is a DNC wet dream...and Palin complied in full

What’s greater? The number of people that can be placed inside a Volkswagen van or the number of people who voted for Duncan Hunter in any 2008 GOP primary?

Agreed, Obama is playing for keeps, Bush, even though the majority of American's wanted a Border Fence had 8 years to do it and failed miserably, the republicans are wimps even when they have the American people behind them.
Word War II was fought in 6 years, Bush had 8, the enemy had struck at the very, very beginning of his first term, we knew then we were incredibly exposed and did nothing. What good is balanced budget when a nuke is going off in your face?
