It doesn’t prove anything. Just because someone wrote a letter stating that the child was a US citizen and was born in Honolulu does not make it so, although it does provide anecdotal evidence of it.
If forgeries do not count, then please tell us what document you have seen that supports Barry WAS born in Hawaii?
State Dept.s and foreign agencies refer to people as citizens of this or that. That is their shtik. That language does not surprise me.
The issue has never been where he was born or if he was a US citizen (although some dispute that)
NBC is the only issue.
Also, why wasn't this paper written on letterhead or show who the letter is from at the top?
I don’t have an astute legal mind. I think that the burden is on those who do not believe that Mr. Obama was born in Hawaii. I have seen lots of interesting theories that show great imagination and clever assembling of bits of information that have come to light. Unfortunately, all of them require belief in some assertion completely lacking a factual basis. The there isn’t there. Those who make the assertions will not tolerate anyone who disagrees with their opinion and resort to personal attacks and epithets. Great legal minds, these. I stand in awe.
“l” (lower case l) and “1” (digit 1) are two separate keys on a typewriter. Guess the dumbocrat that faked it thought it would look more realistic if both “l” and “1” were defective.
Has anyone looked up this “act” to see what it relates to? Doesn’t appear to be enough information in the code to look it up.
Nothing, none of us have. But, given the statements of Hawaii officials, someone is going to have to produce evidence to the contrary.
Thanks digger48. While you may have have understood this since before the election, most people don't. We know all Senators understood his Constitutional ineligibility, regardless of their words, because they all signed Senate Res. 511 agreeing that a natural born citizen has two citizen parents. Nothing Obama signs has the authority of the president.
The emphasis goes to NATURAL BORN citizen.

Well?...Since it is all so straight forward that Obama is a natural born citizen, why not just release the **ORIGINAL** records and best evidence? Simple! Huh?

Two different type writers where used for this ‘production’. The type on second page is quite different rom first page. Also, I do not see a signature. Is the SOP?
There is no evidence that the State Department verified any of the facts behind their own statements relative to the “stepchild” (BHO).
At this point, those statements about the “citizenship” or “birth” of the “stepchild” (in the State Department document) may be based on nothing more than statements made by the visa applicant (Mr. Sotero) or his wife.
Just because the statements are made by an office of the State Department does not mean they were factually verified by anyone. They should not be considered “evidence” unless they can be independently verified by more precise documentation, like a real “birth certificate”.

Even without the “l” problem, this should be difficult to determine if the 2nd page was typed on different T-writer. Those old keys are as unique as fingerprints.
This thing coming out is cover for something else they prefer not noticed.

The first thing that jumped out at me was the date stamp(OCT 6 1967) at the top of the document. The font looks too modern for that time period. I may be wrong but to me it looks out of place. I think it is a forged document as well.
