It is very significant. In this instance the same reasoning used to dismiss this Motion to Dismiss would apply to any Motion for Summary Judgment. Bottom line: This case goes to trial.

The word “dismiss” in article’s headline is a very poor choice of words. It sounds like it means “dismiss” in the legal sense of “to put a claim or action out of court without further hearing” when it actually just means “dismiss” in the sense of diminishing or discounting its importance.

"This was a preliminary motion and so the same judge won't try the case,we have shopped the right leftist judge and know that the fix is in."

The case is NOT solid,especially if they get into due process issues on how the bill was drafted, ( Republicans locked out of commmitte, bill drafted bt the white house), and tha fact tat it was voted without being read.

Looks like this headline is going way over the top of people heads. She dismisses the case in the sense that what the judge did is of no concern to her. Its like dismissing a pestering child that is bothering you. You pay it no mind and ignore it. A little less literal thinking goes a long way.
