Not content with making Ground Zero a symbol of Islamic triumphalism with a 13-15 story Cordoba House mosque, plans are in the works to memorialize the sacred ground of the crash site of Flight 93 in Shanksville, PA.
For a memorial, I can imagine something with park benches, maybe a reflecting pool, the names of the victims carved in shiny stone. Too mundane? Well, the Heinz Foundationyes that Heinzfunded the design competition to come up with something that would reflect the grief and pride of Americans: A red Islamic crescent design symbolizing the features of a mosque.
Huh?
The Crescent (or Bowl) of Embrace, as its called, Im guessing is so named in an effort to sound comforting. Um, its not working. It was, after all, militant Islamic jihadists who caused the plane to crash in the first place. So why are the main features of the memorial so closely linked to Islamic symbols?
Alec Rawls, author of a book about the Flight 93 memorial, Crescent of Betrayal, says A crescent that Muslims face into is called a mihrab. Its the central feature on which every mosque is built. And its always oriented toward Mecca. So a visitor to the Crescent would be facing Mecca while remembering the victims of Flight 93?? But thats a coincidence surely.
Not so much if you do the math. Based on coordinates for the direction of the qibla, the Crescent/Bowl points the visitor toward Mecca. Hmm, there was only a one in three hundred and sixty chance that it could be oriented this way. What are the odds that it was on purpose? Im thinking a hundred percent.

why did the Flt 93 families go along with this????
The only place we don’t yet have a muslim shrine in the works is at the Pentagon 911 memorial- I guess it will be added
The hijacking terrorists actually managed to down the plane in a Mecca-ward orientation. I think this indicates they probably never intended to fly it on to a target, but expected to be rolled (”Lets Roll”).
Deus Vult!
Indeed!
I am a devote NON-Heinz user. Refuse to purchase any product with that name on it.
It is the very simple display of their superiority over their defeated enemies - not unlike American privateers and warships displaying the American flag over the national flags of their captured ships.
look at the Mosques in Jerusalem and Constantinople for proofs of my opening sentence.
There is nothing new under the sun - just replays done for the uninformed and mis-educated.

After all of the controversy when this Memorial design was first revealed, they went back and redesigned it, but the crescent remained.
"Round up the muslims!"
You know, we are only TOLD they went along with this, not that they actually did. IF they did, how many of them? Was this a majority? How was this counted? Rated?
Frankly, I don’t believe it anymore.
That Turkish guy’s in Pennsylvania, no? Is that close by there?
How much $$ was paid to the families for their grief and by whom?
I think the story’s an absolute cover story for the real one.
Hillbillys enjoying a jihad.
Thanx JB, he is absolutely right. Yet the elected class continue to make America more and more dangerous for the non-Muslim.
Do they really think the people in that community, and the survivors of those who were killed, are going to go along with such an outrage?
I am the same way, nothing Heinz in my house. I would like to know just what other products that they own so I can boycot them too.
What/who is the Muslim behind the design of this insult/
