PHOENIX, July 25 (Reuters) - Nicaraguan mother Lorena Aguilar hawks a television set and a few clothes on the baking sidewalk outside her west Phoenix apartment block.
A few paces up the street, her undocumented Mexican neighbor Wendi Villasenor touts a kitchen table, some chairs and a few dishes as her family scrambles to get out of Arizona ahead of a looming crackdown on illegal immigrants.
"Everyone is selling up the little they have and leaving," said Villasenor, 31, who is headed for Pennsylvania. "We have no alternative. They have us cornered."

NO< NO NO we dont need anymore!
And CA, as if we need any more Damned illegals in this state!
None need to show up in Washington state. There stopping places between here and Arizona.
Just imagine the money this will save on state services. Just imagine the fewer children in Arizona’s schools who will now be able to get more attention and a better education. Just imagine the wait time at emergency rooms growing less and less so that legal residents can receive more prompt attention. Just imagine the criminal element exiting and making Arizona’s streets safer. Just imagine if all 50 states did this. Just imagine . . .
Some legal scholars believe that will happen because of the DOJ lawsuit. With legal precedence behind AZ and the likelyhood they will prevail, other states to scared to rock the boat will jump on to pass similar laws.
She’s not the first one I’ve heard heading our way here in PA. They will have to adjust to the cold and windy winters. The last article I read was they already had family in Pa. Lancaster area has a whole area of the city as such. I suspect many will be heading there...but jobs...hardly.
Yeah. Considering a similar law while they notify all the Illegals on the recently publicized list that there will be no reprisals toward them because of their status.
I’m in Pa. as well and they don’t want to get too comfortable here. Harrisburg is already moving with legislation on illegals. So this isn’t the best place to flee to.
I know. I’m up here too. Over on the peninsula.
...there is your trend in reduction of crime.....a Dem/libtard/progressive talking point.... =.=
“Everyone is selling up the little they have and leaving,” said Villasenor, 31, who is headed for Pennsylvania. “We have no alternative. They have us cornered.”
Obviously not ‘cornered’ enough if this ‘undocumented’ person is able to pick up stakes and move to Pennsylvania!!! They should be moving back where they came from!
Good time to be a used car dealer in the Phoenix area...with a lot full of beater custom vans...
That 1099 requirement got my mom’s
attention this evening. She pays her gardener and
housekeeper by personal check to a named
individual not a named company. The parties get
more than $600 annually for their work. We’re
going to find out pretty quick if they are legal
and paying taxes. The gardener is probably OK.
I’m not so certain about the housekeeper.
After that I waited a few more seconds then a man came on speaking English, saying they were closed and gave the hours and days they were open. Espanol takes first before English at of all places, our County Voter Election Dept.
Anyone that would like to verify the tel. # is....(602)506-1511
I heard a commie lib on the tube whining tonight that if Arizona is allowed to get away with this, “all the other states will be doing it”. You got it bubba!
AZ should not allow Air Force one to cross its skies.
Not until Obama can prove he is, who he says he is.
