Desperate White House Sends Political Team To The Gulf, After Blowing It For The Past Three Months

The Deepwater Horizon blew up on April 20. It's now almost August.
Apparently it took nearly all this time for The White House to realize it was taking a beating over the politics of the situation, and that it ought to start getting head of the controversies.
POLITICO:
The White House has quietly launched an effort to confront the political backlash along the Gulf Coast over its handling of the BP oil spill giving special attention to Florida, the only state in the region President Barack Obama won in 2008 and one he will need again when he runs for re-election in 2012.

Lending credence to what has been posted on many threads,he only helps blue states. One more reason he’s not qualified to hold the presidency.
The locals should tar and feather every last one of them. And do the same to any others that they send in the future.
With the left it’s all about politics and not about governing. Liberals will leave this country twisting in the wind until they can formulate a response that they think will make them look good.
What backlash?
There has been scant visual reporting on conditions and I keep hearing how great things are.
The beaches have signs up not to swim in blobs of oil but other than that they are open and other news reports have “all these” phone calls of inquiry about hotel and Beach House rates.
Lifes great.... /s
The only two noteworthy skills the progressives have developed in the last forty years have been colluding against Liberty and spin. Nothing else whatsoever. That which they are doing to this country is every bit as evil can be. Of course, those whom I’m saying that about believe, as much as they believe in anything, in “relativism” and “multi-culturalism,” not good and evil. As far as one can see, it does appear that the theories involving Cloward Piven seem more accurate than anything else. For those who cling to enviromentalism, the only plausible way they’d leave such a disaster alone would be if there were an over-arching reason to do so. If you’re attempting to bring a country to it’s metaphorical knees, the more clamor, divisiveness and separation, the better. That would be a reason to those who’d love to remake the country, as it were, “in their own image.” I’m inclined to think, though, that even the environmentalists, generally speaking, aren’t gonna enjoy the end result of this. Heaven help us all.
I have no idea what to say! LOL
It would be best if they created a no-Fed zone. No government employees within 200 miles of the Gulf.
That way, people could get things done.
...one serious lamearse, idiot-ridden administration...
Yup.
It shows their deep seated racism. Obama should apologize on national TV to all us coastal White people.
Comrade going to Fl, sorry Fl, I had NOTHING to do with that, would not wish this on my enemy......betcha the ‘kids’ will take some Fl sand home with them.
I republicans have any brains (I know) they should use next week’s mini Obama vacation in Fl to bash and ridicule him. It’s handed to them on a silver platter. I mean come on, you do nothing and then deign to come down, pat the little people on the head and eat ice cream cones!
Obama Plan B - vacation in the Gulf & eat ice cream with the daughters !!
Obama Plan A - do nothing to clean up the spill, make BP the criminal with Holder investigatiin, pass cap & crap, play golf as much as possible and vacation & eat ice cream in Maine !!
The list, ping
Then Geithner will kiss his feet and say "all is well"...it was the bump that was needed...
Zero can pound (Oily) sand.
Zero: You are not welcome here. Go back to you home land - whereever that may be.
